here we go with week 9, it was a quiet week at home for me drum head! the girl's new shoes had to dry some washing inside this week due to yucky weather, so much for summer! a blast from the past! And they don't taste as nice as I remember the reading begins for the year a kinder painting playing fuzzy felts
Here is mine for the week. This was the first week I didn't get enough pictures for the week, but luckily I had some extra ones from previous weeks of everyday items. I also decided to add a monthly page to my album which is mainly journaling about what happened in the month plus three pictures (one for each of us). Since I am only writing little bits about each picture, I felt like I was missing a lot of the details. So this was a good solution for me. Does anyone else do something similar?
love these!! lisa, what on earth is the green guy with the long nose? btw, LOVE the little lego guys! GREAT photo idea! i'll try to get caught up tonight.
Thanks. The Green guy is a painting by Rene Magritte. He is a Belgian Surrealist artist and we visited his museum this week. All his paintings are quite interesting and strange.
These are awesome! I haven't gotten my pics off of my camera yet and I need to take a few catch up ones. LOL! I got a bit behind!
crystal i got a bit behind too... i sat down to do week 8 and found that i was missing 2 or 3 days of pictures. i think that was in the midst of my memory stick issues... oh well.
yeah I am not going to beat myself up about it or anything. I will either just add in random photos or just put in some papers or something...IDK. I will figure it out
girls, girls, girls...you are all doing SO great! I am really really struggling. Ugh. I feel like I don't have anything to take a picture of, it's still too cold to get outside and have great lighting, etc...Seriously my pictures from Jan.1 until now are boring in my eyes. We need spring here! Feb. 26 - Braelyn snuggling in with Gauge in front of the fire Feb. 27 - Gunner chewing on a toy, playing Feb. 28 - Met with our decorator who had our basement colors/surfaces all picked out! Mar 1 - Still have snow to play in, with peeks of the sun! Mar 2 - I love it when the girls get down the scrapbooks by themselves to look thru! Mar 3 - I hosted a houseparty for Philadelphia Cooking Cremes, and these were the favor bags! Mar 4 - Scrapbooking Overnighter!!! All set up and ready to scrap!
manda, not boring at all! i think we are all less impressed with our own day-to-day than we are with other people's. but twenty years from now you will treasure these 'boring' daily pics as much or more than anything else you do as a scrapper. don't be hard on yourself. love these ladies!!! i am still trying to catch up... i'm only 2 weeks off i think. not too bad.
okay, I thought I was gonna have to dig through the ARCHIVES to find week 9! I am DETERMINED to get caught up... even if I have to ONLY scrap p365 until I do... well, maybe not to THAT extreme! so, I printed weeks 1-8 and wasn't super thrilled with them. So I thought I would try a different format and see if it was easier to view IRL. I guess I need margin in between my photos or something, because I just was having a hard time separating them in my head when I looked at the whole thing... idk, i'm just weird. Anyway, here's my new approach...
