Here's my week five which I worked on last night. I got some goodies in the mail just in time, thanks to Shanna's enabling. Printed my pics at Costco and so far am loving that. And we only spent $44 our first trip in there, so I think we did okay. Left Side (not a good picture) Right Side: Details: A folded journal card with my thoughts: Scan of a picture my oldest son drew for me at school Collage of my niece Leah Conversation with Wilder, my youngest son:
I love your pages amanda! your little boy is darling! Love his name too!! I am a little jealous of the paper project lifers cuz you get to look at and hold your books! I am excited to print mine at the end of the year, but thats not for a few more weeks!! ok QUITE A FEW more... ha ha. Here is my week 5: Left and the right side:
FAN-TAB ladies!!!!! I might be a little behind on completing mine this week.... I went to IKEA and thats all I am going to say about that. AMANDA!!!!! HOW iN THE WORLD did you only spend 44 at COSTCO!?!?!?!!?!!? I just left... $200. I do daycare, does that make it betteR?
looking GOOD ladies!!! can you believe it's week 5 already!? i tried something different this week - i only used one side of the spread. it was a boring week and i got lazy i did end up doing something fun at the end of the week so i just added an insert for those pics and it all worked out.
and I'm really battling over whether I want to keep going digitally or not. I really LOVE the quiet time at my computer and putting it together. I'm a bit stressed over printing things...the sizes I'll need, will they fit, etc...I'll have to think some more on it!
Loving these pages, ladies!! Amanda, I love the conversation you recorded! And I'm not going to comment on those pretty alphas. Not a word!!! mcalleigh, your pictures are adorable! And I love how you included that song! mom2triplets04 - I love how you used labels to journal about the photos! Michelle - those funky patterns are way cool!! Love your page! Debra, I am looking forward to see some paper pages from you, but I have to say you are totally rocking the digi! I know it'll be great, whatever you decide! I got mine done last night, super fast! More pics on my blog.
Thanks Cristina. I'm not sure what it is..I sat there for hours yesterday thinking of doing a paper page and just using the plastic protectors that I had, but I think it had to do with all the planning of it. It's so easy to do with digi...put it in, if it doesn't work, delete it and put something else. It's not that way after I've printed something. I think I'm just too nervous. It might work just to do it paper next year...save all my things. Either way, I'll try not to stress about it. It's not like I'm not enjoying doing it digi.
I LOVE goodies in the mail! And your LOs are awesome! Love your son's artwork, such a great touch. I'm hoping to get some of that king of stuff in my book too, even though my DD is almost 13.
You ladies are amazing!! These are all so stunning - I just cannot believe the amount of detail and work you've all put into them!
Fantastic work, ladies! I got so wrapped up in doing some older weeks yesterday, that I neglected by current week. I should have some nice quiet time tonight to get it finished. I really look forward to this thread each week!
You ladies ROCK!! I am loving all of your pages. Getting some great ideas. I cannot wait for everything to become available so I can order the kits. I'd like to do all digi but I want to be able to add things like receipts and different things and I think scanning would become gruesome.
