so i just finished half of my 1st page, and I HATE IT! ahh! It doesnt flow like i "imagined/dreamed" ha ha. crap.
I was worried that would happen to me, and it still might b/c I only have the "guts" of week 1 done. But show us, maybe other opinions will help?
These are all gorgeous! I'm all digi and seeing that actual PL page protectors in action has made me think I need the digi templates. At least I only have one week done so switching won't be a huge deal at this point...
ooookkkkk... here it is. ugh. not loving it. ha ha. i think i need the backgrounds of the journal cards to be more of a tan color...not so white. any ideas how to recolor those?
Maybe you can try changing the background color (not the cards, the background paper) from white to something else? It will be much easier than recoloring the journaling cards, and it might help. I love the big quote on the first card!
i'd probably add a colored background paper, too and leave the rest - it's a really great page! that way there would be more contrast between the cards and the paper. all these look FABULOUSO!
I like it too! The journaling cards you picked are cute, perfect for the page & the colors of the little designs are great!
I've been driving myself crazy trying to decide how I want to do my photo project this year. Here's my latest version of week 1 as a two pager. If next week takes as long to do, I'm afraid I'm going to have to simplify. I'm loving everyone's pages.
and here is the 2nd half of my week. i decided i am beginning to like the "clean-ness" of the white, and am going to add a few more "colored" cards in the mix! as a mom to 1 little boy, i am LOVING the fact that i get to use pink and flowers and such because this is kind of my journal/our families journal! loving project life so far!
Finally getting caught up on Week One! We started the year off right with a quick trip to Disneyland, so I had a ton of pics to try to squeeze in to this week. Not all made the cut, so I'm sure I'll be doing some regular layouts with the rest of the pics that didn't make the cut. Here's the spread: Left side: Right Side: More on the blog: http://amyjaz.blogspot.com/2012/01/project-life-2012-week-one.html
I wish I could express to all of you how much I love these pages...all of your hard work, creativity and the peek into your everyday lives. It's amazing!!! xoxoxo Finally, here's mine...bringing up the rear! Tons of TLP stuff on here, full credits in my gallery
