I took my daughter to McDonald's recently, and while she was running around the play area, I looked down at my cup and thought, "ooo I love this block design." I even took pictures of the cup so I could replicate it later. And a LO was born: Who else has a LO where your inspiration came from an unexpected source? Share!
I can't remember an exact inspiration for a certain page but I do certainly look at the world around me with a scrapper's mind. I look at texture, color, design, etc and many of my pages pull from those ideas.
so funny, I was sitting at Walmart by the tires, and took a pic of this poster cause the text boxes caught my eye, the shadows on the tires go one way and the shadows on the boxes the other way..and the words are floating!! But it grabbed me for inspiration, and I forgot about it until you started this post! I want to scrap it somehow
Lorry - I used to get random newspapers n magazine home ... Coz there was a ton of inspiration in them ... And definitely some layouts were born from there I have been known to take pics of random trucks with ads on them and God knows what else ! Lol
I think the weirdest thing to inspire me was a pack of underwear. My poor husband when I make him stop walking so I can take a picture of seemingly random junk!
not sure I get inspiration like that...but that I am OBSESSED to the point of looking at something in a restaurant and thinking how can I scrap this, and thinking of the kind of kit I need to find ...... yeah , obsession pretty well defines it
