Besides scrapping I really love to bake, when it fits in my work schedule and my busy family life I'll make cakes for friends/family.
Yesterday I made this one for my colleague, she was so happy she cried. That's a huge compliment!

Oh my goodness if that isn't adorable! No wonder she cried. I love to bake, but I don't do anything fancy like this. Just brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc. I'd rather bake than cook.

Adorable!!! My 15 year old loves to bake and make cakes. She makes all the birthday cakes around here.

I know it's not the best pic but you can sort of see the rocket cake she made for her brother. And then just today she made Minion cupcakes for her sister's 4th birthday.

You are so amazing! i can't imagine how much time these take - i make one critter as a cake topper and it can take me close to a few hours - like seriously, longer than the time to make a scrapbook page!
this was a unicorn and i was pleased he was quite cute (pink hair and yellow horn)

this was one of a bunch of disney tsum tsums (i mustn't have scrapped all of them yet) and this was meant to be Anna from Frozen but turned out more like DD- notice how Anna is sliding off the cupcake, yeah i have such pro skills! LOL, & she had an Olaf cake one year

and then the tardis was last year - DS usually wants something store bought like an icecream cake or donuts, with his b'day just after xmas that is a real blessing!

I haven’t got the patience to be so patient and precise in baking. So I don’t bake anything pretty, just loaves, bars, muffins and cookies. You are an artist!

She is a very talented girl! How sweet of her to do this for her siblings. It takes a lot of time, especially the decorating.

    The rocket cake is beautiful!

The unicorn is sweet! Olaf is difficult to make, you have to be precise in placing his eyes and shaping his body otherwise it’s not Olaf it’s just a snowman.
    You rocked it!

It does take long to make the fondant puppets, actually that what always takes me the longest time. But when it works out, I’m always excited.

That would be a dream come true!
A couple of years ago I started a little company: people could order their cakes and besides that I organized workshops to learn people how to fill and decorate a cake.
The plan was to build that up besides my regular job and see how things would work out.
I had to stop because my husband got sick (braintumor) and 6 months later passed away. I couldn’t combine being a single working mom with 2 small children with my tiny company. It’s ok, it was the best decision that time and I don’t regret, but sometimes I wonder what would have been...

It’s a pleasure to bake and by not making to many I put an effort in making every cake a masterpiece
