Tissue paper POMS? DIY?

    Have any of your tried to make these? Are they easy?

    I tried...and it was SO difficult for me. I couldn't get them to separate how they were supposed to. They are supposed to be super easy, but I never could get mine to work. Anyone else??

    Haven't tried....but heading to Walmart later today just to see if I can. They are too stinkin' cute!

    The one thing I do different from Martha's tut is to cut a little notch on each side in the center where you tie the wire. It takes out some of the bulk...does that make sense....hmmm maybe I will have to go see if I have tissue and made one up really quick...

    i made some...
    but had a hard time as well.
    and i even tried using less tissue.
    mine was the bulk in the middle and i had a hard time pulling them apart.
    there HAS to be an easier way.
    i'm going to try brynn's idea.

    Yeah, there's no way I would even try this... I'm sooo not crafty! But can't wait to see if you girls manage well!

    Oooh, good idea Brynn. Yep, that was my problem...way too bulky in the middle...I'll have to give your idea a try! :)

    I adore that room! I have had it in my handbag as inspiration for my daughter's room for some time now.

    I had some success making these, but mine do not look quite as nice as Martha's. I have also made some little ones.

    I will be back later with some pics.
