Since I will be cooped up in the house all day due to weather, recommend something for me to watch. I have Netflix and Hulu. :)

I just came to see what you recommended.
I have watched two episodes of FBI and really enjoyed them.
Am always on the lookout for new shows though.

    Shows I’ve enjoyed on Netflix:
    Stranger Things
How to Get Away With Murder
    Supernatural

There would be more to the list if my memory were better.

I signed up for a free trial of Hulu just to watch the first season of Handmaids Tale. Horrible subject but compelling story. The haven’t gotten around to paying for another month to watch season 2.

    Another idea:
I like Curiosity Stream and it’s cheap. They have some very interesting, well-done documentaries.

I could also spend hours watching Youtube. Some of my favorites channels:
Crash Course History and all their other topics
    Today I Found Out
    It’s Okay To Be Smart
    Kurzgesagt
    Vlogbrothers
    Eamon & Bec
and my daughter’s music videos, Rhiannon Kendzie :heartlub

We got Hulu for 99 cents a month for a year at Black Friday. My husband hates paying for tv when we have cable but 99 cents was too good of a deal.

Mostly on Netflix I watch BBC crime dramas. I have watched and enjoyed
    Sherlock
    Luther
    Broadchurch
    Wallander
    Midsomer Murders
I have watched Stranger Things because of all the hype about it and did like that too.

Currently am watching/binging Bob’s Burgers with hubby. He doesn’t particularly care for the dark crime dramas I enjoy, but he did like Sherlock.

I love How to Get Away with Murder, but I find I need to only watch when I have about five I haven’t seen. One episode is never enough because half the episode feels like a recap and then the ending is always a cliff hanger.

Now reading this it may sound like I only watch crime dramas but I did enjoy other genres too.

We watch a lot on YouTube too. Mostly stuff about World War II and almost everything hosted by simon Whistler. Geography Now is fun too.

@weaselwatchr I love crime dramas too, and I also read a lot of this theme...sometimes I feel bad, like, why do I like this so much?! I guess it's the plot twist of the books/ tv series....

on Netflix I just finished 2 that are not on this theme but I liked a lot
    - sex education
    - the kominsky method

and one that is good, but on the crime theme is Parfum. but this one is a bit morbid, with murders more on criminal minds vibe.

@Ferdy My husband always asks me why I like these types of shows. He will peek in the room and it is always when something gruesome is happening and will say "You always watch such cheerful things."

not sure if our netflix have the same shows, but @weaselwatchr if you like BBC crime dramas, you HAVE to watch Bodyguard with Richard Madden, it is AMAZING!

I'll second Ozark on Netflix! I've also gotten hooked on Shameless, but be forewarned there is lots of nudity and language!

Oh Death in Paradise was good too!!! It is a crime drama/comedy that takes place in the Carribbean. It is not gory or too dark.

The book was better....LOL! I started watching the first season, and it drove me nuts because I had finished the book a few weeks before.

Dh does this! That, and he'll tell me "I better never make you angry! You know how to do away with the body."

I read the book first too, but the year prior. I remember thinking the book was better -- as is typical -- but I've forgotten exactly what the differences were.

I've been listening to How I met your mother on Hulu. It's good when I'm scrapping, because it only takes half an ear, and is good background noise.

Love! Great British Baking Show (Bake off outside the US) - netflix. There's two or three titles for it, so the seasons are out of order.
The Good Place - Netflix older, Hulu newer. It makes me smile.
Skin wars - gorgeous creativity! Netflix. It's body painting.
I've been marvelling it up, so watching Agents of Shield (Netflix) and Agent Carter (Hulu)
Adam Ruins Everything - it makes me think outside my views in a comedic way (netflix)
    The Crown - Netflix
Top Chef - Love watching people cook
The Goldbergs - Hulu okay, the first episodes are rough, but then it gets really good!
Cutthroat kitchen. It combines my love of horrible human nature, Alton Brown, and cooking.

    Netflix Movies:
Julie and Julia was cute (also a book)
    Solo - I liked it. Some don't.

On my to watch, no opinion yet:
    Rizzoli & Isles.

    I'm noticing a food theme....

I've been watching You on Netflix. I read the book recently. It's good but not as creepy as the book, imo.

@bestcee is Rizzoli and isles on Netflix or Hulu? I need to watch that
