    This is why I shouldn't do laundry. . . .

So, I went downstairs to finish laundry, stepped on a TOAD that was in my BASEMENT, screamed bloody murder, found a cup to take the toad outside (still screaming "Eep! Eep! Eep!") .... and now I'm wondering if the poor toad is hurt because I stepped on him (also thinking "Ew.") ... and this is why I shouldn't do laundry.

oh my...stepping on a toad would freak me out as well.

I personally love any reason for not doing laundry. That's why it is DD's job now.

    Makes perfect sense to me.

I don't do laundry because I hate it. Also I'm really bad at following through with it. My husband has always done it because he's OCD enough to be spectacular at it.

I tend to forget about the laundry too-- I'll start a load a think, "hey, I'm pretty good at this..." and then 6 hours later, I'm going to bed thinking, "CRAP, I forgot to switch the laundry!"

And then everyone has wrinkled clothes and no one (read: my husband) is happy.

I'd rather step on a toad than a dead mouse (in my in-law's basement...yech) and then THIS. Maybe all this critters could be trained to do laundry...kind of like Cinderella's crowd of birds, mice, etc.

[*in a confidential whisper*] Psst. Laura and Kelly! That campaign to randomly surprise our forum participants with Froggy things? ...Well... Maybe we should rethink that one. :whistle

OMG that would have had me in hysterics! I am NOT a huge fan of toads ... mind you toads here mean nasty disgusting Cane Toads and they have poison glands so I really REALLY don't want to step on one of them! Grossssssssssss!

I'm all for finding excuses to not to laundry! I don't mind gathering, washing and drying, but I loathe folding, hanging, and putting it away!!!!

Poor little toad.... I am not fond of doing laundry. I ruin many things since I don't separate colors from whites and everything goes in the dryer. Oh well - gives me an excuse to shop more.

Guess it's just me. I don't mind toads (or frogs). I mean, I wouldn't take it on a date to Texas Roadhouse and then to try to feel it up at the 8 pm showing of 'The Hunger Games' or anything... but I'd be okay with picking it up in my hands *gasp* and taking it outside.

Now a rodent on the other hand... shudder.
