Besides DSD, of course(!!!), what you do you have planned for the weekend?

My youngest has a double-header for volleyball tomorrow and we have church on Sunday. Otherwise, it's going to be a scrap weekend here! I have to admit that I really love a weekend without many plans. Such a luxury! :)

I hope you all have a great one. Enjoy DSD!!

To earn money for Girl Scout trips, my daughter and I are working a concession stand at the Duke University Football game tomorrow. I'll be frying up the funnel cakes or serving ice cold lemonade (supposed to be 80 here tomorrow). Then I will come home, shower, and hopefully get to scrap.

Besides DSD... today I have a physical therapy appointment. Tomorrow my husband is going to a car show and breakfast with a friend, and I'll be taking the kids to the library for a fire safety/see a firetruck thing. Then I intend to scrap, scrap, and scrap more! Woo!

I actually have time to myself for the first time ever during a big scrap event like this (I LIKE that it's been moved). My son will be at a confirmation retreat starting this evening until Sunday afternoon, and my DH & DD are going golfing tomorrow. The only thing on the agenda is a movie tomorrow night with DD (Storks) and church Sunday morning. So tomorrow afternoon I'm going to turn the self cleaner on the oven so I can say I did something, and then sit at the laptop most of the afternoon!!!

Today, I'm organizing and doing some household tasks if my back pain lets me. Injection on Monday seems to be working a little bit more each day (takes some time for the steroid to start working). That's a HAPPY!!!! Even though my activity hasn't increased, at least when I take my medication, I get relief. I'm smiling quite a bit more.

Tonight is Grits Gab with Danyale, so I'll be chatting with her for an hour (and hopefully hanging out with y'all, too, HINT HINT, LOL). Other than that, I'll be taking care of some photo and supply organization so I'll be ready for this weekend. I have THREE Watch Cheryl Scrap LIVE scraps scheduled, so I know for sure I'll at least get three pages done, but I'm hoping for quite a bit more.

Tonight my sis-in-law, niece and nephew arrive about 10 pm. My brother is an Army Ranger stationed overseas (in an undisclosed location), so she is coming here to have their birthday party Saturday afternoon. She's staying with us and having the party here. YIKES. Did I really agree to this? Then Alabama football!

They are leaving Sunday, so I am hoping for a low key day then to do some more scrapping!

My husband just finished up three horrific deals (he's a credit undewriter) that totaled over $100 million in affordable housing projects. He's been a grumpenstein for the past month (at least). But he's done with those so hopefully won't be as grumpy AND one of the regional managers gave him a $125 gift certificate for a nice restaurant because she knew how hard he'd worked, so we're going out to dinner Sunday night. :)

I'm hoping to convince him to order my river rock for the front yard so I can start on that while the weather is still okay.

Errands for my grandma and trying to get the crazy house mess under control (while scrapping :giggle).

hubby has a work get together - I am not sure if I want to go though - it always ends up being boring for me as I have very little in common with most people he works with (all very academic and such)

Not much this weekend. Forecast for lots of rain - which it is doing right now - will probably mean we will be inside.

Pretty much just hang around here in between emptying the kids rooms to get ready for the new carpet arriving on Tuesday! :D

It's our regional skating competition this weekend. DD skates tomorrow morning, then we're off to theater on ice tryouts. Hopefully I'll have energy after that's all over to do some scrapping and hanging out here. Then Sunday is church and off to the rink again!

I had planned on lots of DSD before and after my son's football game tomorrow, but I got a call from my daughter this morning and this happened...best reason ever for missing out on DSD festivities :)

@IntenseMagic congrats!! Hope your daughter and grandbaby are doing well.

I'm hoping to check out one more park with a piano in it tomorrow. I was wanting to go back to one of the parks from last Saturday, but a big forest fire started in the hills nearby so it's closed.

And then I'm running a half marathon on Sunday morning. Need to pick up some good running and music kits!

I have a friend staying the weekend at my house. We are holed up in my craft room and scrapping ALL weekend long! Yay!

My mom has been here since Thursday afternoon helping me with some orders and also helping me do a big fall cleaning in the living and dining room. I helped with hers when I was at my parents' house a couple of weeks ago, and we decided then to take turns going to each other's house to help clean up before the holidays. She'll go home tomorrow sometime.

Darren also decided to come home from school for the weekend! I haven't seen him for about three weeks (too many orders in to drive down to Mobile!), so I'm hoping for a chill weekend for him. We're planning on renting Captain America: Civil War from Redbox tomorrow night and crashing out in the freshly cleaned living room to watch it.

I also have orders to run, and I'm going to squeeze some scrapping time in if it kills me!

Oh, and my mom just happened to be here when a photo book of layouts that I'd ordered from Shutterfly arrived. She is now head over heels in love with it and wants to start digi scrapping! We've signed her up for an account in the shop here at the Pad and have filled her cart with some DSD goodies to get her started. If anyone can recommend some tutorials for beginners, that would be awesome! She knows her way around Photoshop, but things like shadows and clipping masks are new to her.

well, it was looking like a very busy weekend of soccer games (x2) and an away XC meet ...but the rain & icky weather has just brought on one cancellation so far. i dropped my son off at the hs early this morning for his bus, but he said he would just take the bus home with the team and not to worry about going. today's soccer game and his race time slot were at the same time. so .... i think i'm home and scrapping for today at least. it is too nasty out to do anything else.

yay for DSD! :banana

We had plans to go to our church for a fall fun fest + my grandfather's birthday party Sunday... and then my daughter showed me these little red bumps on her hands after school yesterday.

:duh :duh :duh

The kids and I dealt with stupid hand, foot, & mouth disease last summer or the summer before. It was NBD for the kids but my hands & feet were throbbing with pain for 2 or 3 days. DD's case is very mild so far (and she said she'd had them for a couple of days before she showed me!) so I'm hoping I can avoid it altogether this round but we'll see.

We'll just be quarantined in the house until further notice. DH is out of town this weekend so it's just the littles & me trapped in here for the next 48 hours. My biggest concern is how much school she will have to miss next week until she's bump-free.

:cry :cry :cry
