I actually HAVE plans this weekend, so I'll start this thread for Laura :giggle

I'm working from home this morning, and then we have friends coming for the weekend for two days of winery visits! Lunch and a few local wineries this afternoon, and then we're spending the day in Walla Walla tomorrow. Good times! And then Sunday is recover from guests and clean the house day!

What's everyone got planned for the next couple of days?

Working from home today and hopefully finish early. I'm just rolling off three consecutive weeks of travel for work - so my weekend looks like: laundry, clean, groceries and sleep!

LOL! Sounds like a delightful weekend, Julie! :)

No big plans this weekend. I am still recovering from last weekend's Carnival. It's supposed to rain a lot this weekend, so I am thinking tea, books and scrapping.

My hubs is on call for work this wkend so Taz and I will head over to Bellingham first thing in the morning and go to our trailer for a bit, then head into town for a bit of shopping and then hit the casino for a few hours later in the day before heading back over the border again. Sunday I'll be squirreled in my office for a big part of the day working on tax stuff...yuck.

Hubby is on call so not much in the way of plans. Hoping to get some cleaning/organizing accomplished. We'll probably play some board games and I'm planning on sneaking an hour or two of scrapping time.

Rae, that's where I'm from!! Moved to Bellingham when I was 6, and left there for eastern Washington almost 7 years ago. What a coincidence!

Three weeks of travel - ugh!

Laura, that actually sounds heavenly to me! (Tea books and scrapping. Not the rain. Or the Carnival! :giggle)

I love relaxed and casual weekends!

We have babysitting duty with Harper tomorrow - (tough deal, but someone has to do it!) - Sunday is my R&R day.

End of school term here so papers due. Hubby has to work Saturday which will be a help. Have to get ahead on the last paper so I can enjoy NSD!

What a fun weekend Julie!! Sounds like many of you have good stuff going on!!! I am working in yard tonight, helping at my mom's garage sale tomorrow morning, more yard work, drinks with friends tomorrow night, and then rest on Sunday. Nothing uber fantastic, but it's the weekend and that is all that matters!

Gosh, Julie, I haven't been to Walla Walla since 1967. It was a really sleepy little community then. My husband worked in the Libby canning factory during his summers while he was at WSU. Said husband is going to be out of town for the week-end, so I'm going to concentrate on juicing, running and scrapping. I need to finish up the last BSF lesson for the year, too.

Wading through scholarship and bursary stuff for the boy. We sent another package today and have a few more to get together.....applying for anything that fits, money is money no matter the amount.

Finn has his second obedience class Sunday morning so we will be there. Then out at the ball diamond in the afternoon to collect fees for the season.

Ahhhhh Lindzee - this is me too! Just got back from NYC. I don't think my husband or son know how to do dishes or laundry when I am gone! Plus the dog has been very sick - vomiting blood - so I have lots of extra laundry to clean up from that. But it feels so good to be home that I really am not sure I'll mind!

I know the weekend is well and truly over, but just wanted to share what I did. Saturday was Anzac Day here (like Memorial Day) and we travelled 8 hours by car to my husbands grandfathers home town so that my husband, who s in the Navy could march with his Dad and Grandfather. Both had served for a short time in the Army and had not marched before, so it was very special.
