    It's Friday!! :woot

We haven't had a weekend check-in for a while. What are you up to this weekend?

June has been a very full month at my house and this weekend is more of the same. Tonight, I have a girls night with my friends. My teenager is having a friend for a sleepover too. Tomorrow, DH and I are going to a local farm-to-table restaurant for lunch with another couple. We're looking forward to it -should be super yummy. Then, I am headed to a scrap night with my BF. I am hoping to finally get my PL entirely current. Finger crossed! My youngest has a friend's gymnastics birthday party in the evening, so DH will get to be the taxi for that event. Sunday is church and then...packing! On Monday, we're off to hang out with my family and soak up some cousin time for the next few weeks.

I have an eye exam this afternoon (I've never worn glasses and don't think I need them but since I'm on the insurance might as well have them checked....I am a little concerned about my night vision however). DH is going to get his MO DL since his IL expires next week. Waiting until middle of the month to do mine since I don't drive very much anyway and the money can be used for groceries. We haven't been able to do a full grocery trip yet and I'm looking forward to having some food in my fridge.

Oh, and unpacking....still lots to be done here.

Crazy busy June... and July should be more of the same.
We are still away from home (visiting my dad). This weekend we plan to go to a July 4th celebration in my hometown as well as a fireworks show.

A whole lotta nothing - and by nothing I mean laundry, grocery shopping, weeding, wrangling my kids, swimming lessons, and getting ready for church on Sunday. Hopefully squeezing scrapping in there somewhere too! Feels like we've been traveling and playing all month long, but it will be nice to have a more normal weekend at home!

It's supposed to be not-as-hot this weekend, so I'm planning on taking Miss Monkey to a local festival one day & to the new man-made beach the other day. Can't wait -- I have so many FOJ kits + beach kits that I want to use! :giggle

We are headed to the Water Park tonight. Our church rented it from 5-9 and my girls are so excited. Tomorrow I have to pack for my trip to Michigan on Monday. Sunday: church then ladies lunch after and then hopefully a nap

It's a busy weekend for us. We have the last two baseball games, celebrating DS Jason's 7th birthday today, my parent's 50th anniversary tomorrow and a trip to an amusement park on Sumday. We also went to the movies today to see Monsters U. Busy Busy....especially with a potty training two year old!!

The in-laws have been on holiday, and we normally see them every Sunday. Three Sundays without them and my girls were starting to ask for them. They're finally back, and they're going to pick up the girls tomorrow morning and keep them all weekend! Woohoo! I don't know what DH and I will do with our kid free weekend, but not having to plan it is part of the fun. lol

I'm going to the Old Navy Annual $1 Flip-Flop Sale with a friend . . . seriously (chuckle); stalking the mail for a first letter from my son at Boot Camp and SCRAPPING in the air conditioning! Now that I've cleaned my basement out, I've been toying with the idea of moving all my packed away photography stuff down there and setting up a little table top studio for still shots.

We're heading out shortly to cross the border to go our trailer in Washington for 3 days. I bring my laptop so I can fit in some scrapping time. Tomorrow morning we'll check out the local garage sales and then back for lunch and a few hrs of relaxation before going to the casino for dinner and gambling for the night. Then Sunday we'll relax around the trailer and head home on Monday afternoon.

My plan was to run 12 this morning and softball tomorrow and then the kids come home from 2 weeks with their dad.

But the flooring I ordered for my daughter's room didn't come in until Thursday. So now I have to do that today so it can be done when she gets here.

Last night, my youngest projectile vomited more than I have ever seen in my LIFE. And I've been a mom for 20 years, to 5 kids. I've seen a lot of vomit. So, I'm sure I'm next. I skipped the run, because I don't want it to strike while I'm 4 miles from my car. LOL

Hopefully it stays away long enough for me to put the floor in. Poor kid. I told her I'd do that, and it was her birthday while she was gone, so I really wanted to be able to have that done for her. I would have preferred to do it when dh wasn't home because... lets just say he's not super handy. :giggle

since I just got my computer up and running again,
I have a few days of catching up to do, and it's going to rain,
for a week, so there won't be much going on outdoors,
except for the july 4th bbq, rain or shine lol

Well, hubby and I are officially on vacation for the whole next week. We are doing a staycation again this year so really don't have much planned. We'll go to the beach if it's nice. Monday I think it's going to rain so I'll probably take the kids to see Despicable Me 2. I want to take them blueberry picking at some point and otherwise we're going to do whatever we feel like each day for a week! Woo-hoo! :)
