Please remind me never ever to touch this stuff again,I feel rough today! Now I remember why I dont drink
 
yes, I will remind you,
I have a bit of a dislike for alcohol in general and as some of you know I have strong reasons too, and I used to be a drinker, not regular, but I could hold my alcohol very well.....

now Tequila?
not for nothing is called the Devil's drink......

its blooming awful stuff i rarely drink a few christmas birthday etc but last night was a rare party night and your right its awful stuff
 
I drank some this summer at my family birthday celebration and the entire night is a blur. My teenage children were there, as were my younger nieces. I obviously didn't realize how it was hitting me until I woke up the next morning and couldn't remember anything except vaguely. I have videos of stuff I have no memory of doing. I didn't embarrass myself, I'm just terrified by the fact that I essentially blacked out but yet was lucid enough that none of my family realized how far gone I was. And it was seriously one drink.

Haven't taken a drink since then. I didn't have a hangover though. I was smart enough to chug water the rest of the evening (because I think I realized I wasn't doing well) and the water flushed it all out of my system by morning.
 
That stuff is bad. A few years ago I had a bit too much on my birthday. I ended up riding on a camel later and talking to it. (No, I didn't just imagine that, I've got a photo to prove it.) :giggle:giggle

I so feel you, girl! Hope you are better today.

I had a horrible run-in with tequila in college. I was sooo sick I thought I was going to die. And then, I wished I would die. I still can't even smell the stuff without feeling sick. *shudders*

mmmm...I do like a bit of really good tequila. I mostly choose beer over anything else, but every once in awhile, tequila is nice. =) Of course, I have expensive tastes, so I don't tend to drink much of it at once.
