Adding this here because I thought some peeps would like to be able to find it after the slow scrap it was made for was long and gone... hehe

    Hello scrappers,

Welcome to our first Visual Slow Scrap Live in Adobe Connect. It's Kayla aka keepscrappin here to give you ten ways to get terrific titles. I tend to get stuck in a rut and do the same thing over and over again. I decided to take a look through my gallery and list some of the different ways I've used titles. Some would fit into more than one category, but you get the picture. I figure if I have a list of ideas to refer too, then I'll be able to add some more variety to my titles. I think it will be especially helpful when I have scrapper's block. I hope you find this list useful too.

    TEN WAYS TO TERRIFIC TITLES
    1. Add your title as part of a cluster.

    2. Use a mixed title. A mixed title is one that is made from different things. There are several combinations available for mixed titles.
    • an alpha and a font, or a word art/strip
    • 2 or more alphas, word art/strips, fonts, etc
    • multiple colors of the same alpha, font, etc

    3. Use your title as part of the layout design.

    4. Turn your title. It can go vertical, diagonal, sideways... you name it. Titles can do whatever you want them to do.

    5. Combine your title with your journaling.

    6. Use Cut out templates and/or styles.

    7. Make your title LARGE AND IN CHARGE!
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    8. Put your title right on a photo.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    9. Give your title a place to rest, so it's grounded and not floating away.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    10. Use a journal card for your title.

I can't wait to see all the terrific titles y'all come up with!

Love all these ideas. I often get stuck, or just forego the title all together. I need to title more!!!! Like some people need to journal more, I need to title more.

hehe... we should trade layouts. I can do titles for you and you can journal for me.

I used a cluster, and although I didn't use a jounal card for my title, I did grab it from a flair!

I really thought I'd added this one but maybe it's floating around in another thread...gasp. It's definitely large and in charge!

You're good Maureen. You did add it to the slow scrap thread. I'm the one confusing people. I added this list to the learning pad forum so it'd be easily accessible to people looking for ideas and tutorials. Sorry for the confusion, but glad you've added it here too. It's a beautiful layout that incorporates the title ideas.
