    Are we all ready for a super difficult technique challenge today?

    hahahaha....with all that has been going on in the world, my brain is pretty fried and my mojo is still lost. So, if you're like me, you could use a break and just scrap without thinking too hard about it.

    Today is probably the easiest "technique" scrap I've done yet.

    One would think that being home would give my creative juices time to ferment, but alas, it's seemed to have dried up completely. I signed up for a photo prompt group and had full intention of pulling out the big guns and shooting up a storm I took 2 photos. meh
    sooooo....my goal is to just be happy with cell phone pics and go for it.

    Step 1: Close your eyes and count to 10...open your eyes and look around and find 5 things that you never thought were interesting before. 5 things that are usually normal and boring.

    Step 2: take a photo of anything "boring and normal"...can be a meal, a flower, anything you want...just pull out your phone or camera and snap anything. It might be something that has a story or it might be your mask. I have done 2 LOs...of random items.

    In the chat, we had a great discussion of ideas. Hopefully, some will also post here. The main idea is to just do it...don't overthink...don't be perfect...just do something to get the mind flowing and creative juices juicy. =)

    Here are today's instructions:
    Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

    1. CREATE A LAYOUT USING A PHOTO OF SOMETHING "NORMAL" OR "BORING"

    I can't wait to see everyone's take.

    You have 24 hours to finish your pages. Layouts are due Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 1:00pm Eastern time. Please load you pages to THIS gallery and post them below. Have fun!!!

    Missed the chat (didn’t wake up until it was half over). Another side effect of current life is sleeping in later. Maybe I’ll make my layout about that:giggle

    Today I took the shoes photo and 2 screen captures (another handy "camera"). And I had to retrieve the lettering photo since I had already trashed it.

    Thanks for the great chat and challenge! I scrapped a page about a very boring and mundane task; doing the laundry. But because it is with a new washing machine that we have since last month, it makes it a bit less boring. :-)

    I missed the chat and I have a question. Does the photo need to be new & taken today specifically for this challenge?
    I'm asking because it's already 11 pm here and I won't be able to scrap tomorrow before the deadline. And I have this "super cool" photo from May 25th!
