Hey all! I have 3 easy techniques for watercolor backgrounds. 1) Brushes. TLP has a great assortment of watercolor brushes. I used Barely There Watercolor Brushes by Just Jaimee. I like to make the brush big & stamp it, rather than "paint" with it. Using different colors, sizes, & opacity builds depth. Lastly, I use a light opacity white brush to better blend the colors together. 2) Stamps I used Stamp It No.3 by Pink Reptile Designs. Psst...they're half off for SOSN. Clipping a colored shape to the stamp keeps the texture of the stamp. Again, play with the color & opacity. 3) Styles This is by far the easiest method! We have some awesome watercolor styles in the store. I used MPM Origin Layer Styles by Mommyish. Place your shape & add a watercolor style. Add layers, adjust color & opacity, et voila! Your challenge is to make a spring inspired page using a watercolor background you've made. Please add more to the page than just a background & remember to stick with the gallery rules. Post in the gallery & here by 3pm PST on 04/18/2019, & I'll message you a prize. Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.
