taco tuesday | pad patter 5.5.20

I tried to order from several places but they all disconnected their phones. I drove out to two places (one was a food truck and the other a stand outside to order place) both had lines so long it would have taken hours!!! And let's not talk about how comical the drive-thru at Taco bell was!!! I couldn't believe it. Ended up with some Pittsburgh sandwiches for whoever wanted one while I cooked up some tacos at home.

 

I tried calling and the line was busy. I should have taken that as a sign, but no, I just placed the order and paid on the app so I was stuck waiting lol

 

I totally meant to make tacos for dinner last night... but my mind was a bit muddled from having stayed up until 1:00am with a good book the night before, so when it came time to actually make dinner, I forgot and made homemade spicy shrimp fried rice instead. Oops!

 

I made homemade beef tacos and then remembered that it was Cinco de Mayo.
