    Yep, Cinco de Mayo is on Taco Tuesday. Yay... I finally have an answer to the "what's for dinner?" question.

    Who else is having tacos for dinner tonight? Do you make your own or get take out?

    We usually get take out tacos from Taco Time or make our own at home.

    Hubby loves the smothered pork burritos from Cafe Rio. Maybe we could get take out from there... :think

    Our best Pizza Place had a Taco Tuesday special which they normally have on Mondays. Stuffed calzones. Close enough for our lunch today (and later leftovers)! He's on his own for dinner tonight as he's been a cranky boy a lot today. Yelling at carryout folk and his printer. Nuff said!! IMG_3514.jpeg

    We had leftovers - some had spaghetti, but I had nachos from leftover taco meat I made up a few days ago. So I was on target!!

    So I had the "brilliant" idea that we should order Mexican for dinner tonight, and so did the rest of the town I guess. It was 1 hour and 20 minutes from the time I placed the order until it was brought to the car. We did have tacos and a bunch of other stuff. Fish tacos are my very favorite!

    We got chicken and pork tacos from Cafe Rio with no wait! We ordered around 4:45 and beat the crowds. That never happens for us. We usually have to wait an hour or more, but they were well staffed and our order was right there ready and waiting when we pulled up.

    @IntenseMagic We did too, Jan!! LOL! Our authentic restaurant disconnected their phone due to volume! We ended up going to Subway. No worries, we will hit a cool restaurant tomorrow in Charlotte!

    We did curbside pick-up at our favorite local Mexican restaurant. DH had tacos; I had a chicken fajita quesdilla. We had margaritas too. :D

    Chicken fajita quesadillas sound amazing! Curbside pick-up at all our favorite restaurants is one good thing that has come out of this whole covid 19 situation. I love not having to go inside! I hope they keep doing it.
