I'm moving into a new chapter of my life tomorrow so want to document it PL style. How would you approach it as I've been too busy to take photos over the last month since I intially found the flat.

Weather, music you like right now, your menu plan, your budget... a currently/current events page...

So you are moving tomorrow? Can you take pics of the new place empty? If you found it with an ad, you might be able to find that. Just bits and pieces of memories not even in necessarily chronological order.

Thanks girls! Yes, in 24 hours I'll be in my new place. The ad is no longer online but I have a printed copy that I could type out. I'm moving to a fully furnished flat where I'm sharing with one other.

Budgets and menu plans are good ideas too.

You could even do a journaling page about all the before's and then really start your project life in your new home. And maybe make a goal to take a picture of something unpacked that day, or your meal --oh you could do firsts meals, night morning, trip to school. Congratulations girl this is exciting!

first look at the flat, a look when you first come in (can be recreated later for what you remember as you looked in)
at a stop light, looking back at home, forward to the unknown

a pic of your first bathroom stop, so when you come back home to visit, you can see and think, oh i almost home.

sure your family like to see around your new neighborhood, etc

All these ideas seem good so I'm not going to add to those. I will say congratulations Jennifer on the great big step. Be proud and happy in your new digs.

It did, I first saw the house listed on May 25th, viewed the house and tentatively said yes on June 4th, confirmed the move on the 14th and am moving in on June 25th.

Or, just take a photo of it, and include it :-)

I would add a photo of the room you are leaving, and a reference to the old 2 hour, x buses and trains commute to the new one. Maybe with a screenshot of Google Maps or the trip planner on your public transportation site?

I would also add a little bio (but not post it publicly) of your flatmates. Name, how long they've been there, just basics. You never know where the path will take you, and I wish I had a photo of my first roommate!
