Here are the instructions for today's speed scrap: Your Layouts must be completed within 1 hour. They are due by 11:00pm Eastern time. Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Here we go: 1. Start with a neutral background. 2. Add 4 approximately 2.5" x 3" boxes. Align the 4 boxes horizontally. The boxes can be touching or not. If you don't scrap 12 x 12, feel free to scale accordingly (either smaller boxes or only 3 boxes) 3. Add one large paper mat under the 4 boxes with a solid or patterned paper 4. Fill the boxes with photos and/or journal cards and/or patterned paper 5. Add 3-5 elements as a cluster in the top left corner of your layout. 6. Add a quote, word art and/or a couple of lines of journaling to the bottom right corner of your layout. 7. Make a LO you love, but I NEED TO SEE THE BASE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE. I really wanted to add some shading where the brown paper curves in the lower right corner, but I can't remember how to do it, and couldn't find a tut to help me. I tried the burn tool and just painting with a soft brush. If anyone can point me to a tut, I'll add that before printing. Here's mine. I used 4 leaves in my 'cluster' - I hate clustering. This was my son's adventure not mine. It's possible/probably this will get tweaked later, I feel like I need something else but the clock is ticking. ;-)
Thought about the scrap all day and then I forgot to the very last minute. Got to write notes and put them on the computer!
