hi everyone! here are the instructions for the speed scrap. you will have one hour after we are done to complete your page, post it in the gallery, and link it up here :)

note: i allow one "cheat" - just let me know what it is!

    1) select one picture and crop it into a horizontal rectangular shape. place it towards the center of the page (we will move it a little bit later on) on top of a light, neutral, solid background.

    2) select a journal card (or create a journal sized rectangle using patterned paper) and place it the the left of the picture. resize it (or place on a mat) to make it the same height as the picture. they should be touching - and the journal card/picture combination should be centered in the page.

    3) Use different patterned papers to layer different sized rectangles under the picture/journal card. use as many/few as you like.

    4) add a title to the page - place it underneath the picture.

    5) add some elements - include at least one cluster at the bottom left of your journal card and one at the top right of your picture. add more as wanted. include some string or ribbon. paint/doodles/brushes can be counted as elements.

    6) add journaling to the bottom half of the page (underneath the title and/or picture)

    7) save your page, post in the gallery and post in this thread. i will send out the participation codes later tonight.

thanks for playing along everyone!!! can't wait to see your pages!

Thanks for the great instructions- I LOVED the page you had us lift and will probably lift it again with a more girly, soft and vintage vibe. Today, I wanted to get this story told:
