We are just starting a speed scrap in the chat room I will also post the steps here: STEP ONE – Select any background paper that you like. Create 2 rectangles approximately the same size and place them on your layout. Squares will work if you prefer. You may place the rectangles/squares anywhere on your layout. STEP TWO – Make one more rectangle underneath the first 2. They all must be slightly over lapping. You must fill at least 1 rectangle with a photo and the rest fill with paper. I filled the top 2 with photos and the bottom one with paper. STEP THREE – Add a border of any kind to all three rectangles. You may add a white stroke border, a frame, a doodle or matt with slightly larger pieces of paper. STEP FOUR – Add a piece of word art and 2 tiny elements on top of at least 1 photo. If you use more photos, add at least one more element on top of one of them. STEP FIVE – Create at least two thin strips of paper and add some journaling on the paper strips. Attach the paper strips to your layout with either stitching, tape or a staple. STEP SIX – Add a date and any other journaling that you would like directly on the background paper. If your background is busy, you can add additional paper journaling strips. STEP SEVEN – Add at least three more elements (off the photo(s) ). You may add a title, but it’s not required.
