*Closed* Speed Scrap | Aug. 10 3pm EDT

Hi, everyone and welcome to the Aug. 10 Speed Scrap!! We'll be getting started in the chat room at 3pm EDT/noon PDT and I hope you can join us!! You will have until 5pm EDT today 8/10 to get your layout completed and posted to earn the participation prize!

Remember: Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Come back and show us in this thread!

I will post the steps here as we go:

1. Start with a solid background paper. It can have texture, just no pattern.

2. Select 2 photos. Make one bigger, approx 4x6...then use a smaller one and place it overlapping the first on the bottom right side. You can frame or mat them if you want, not a requirement.

3. Add 2 thin strips of patterned paper behind the photos. It doesn’t matter where as long as they are behind one or both of the photos.

4. Add a cluster of elements on the left side of the big photo. Use at least 3 elements, more if you like, but at least 3.

5. Add some paint or a scatter or a stamp on top of the background layer, under your other layers

6. Add a title and have it overlap at least one of your photos. It can be an alpha or a word art or both, and at least one line of journaling, doesn’t have to be a complete sentence.
