THE HUNGER GAMES!

That's right!!!! I've jumped on the band wagon and sooooo glad I did! I was hooked by page 5 because I so intrigued! I wish I could just sit down and read the whole thing, alas, life get in the way so I'm only at page 100... But lovin' every minute of it! :)

I haven't read them yet, but they're definitely on my wish list! I've heard nothing but good things about them!

They are great! One of my all time favorites! I've been trying to convince DH to read them for a few months, to no avail...

DUDE...I read the first one on my Kindle while I was on a flight to Europe for business. I CRIED during the first book (please tell me I'm not the only one)...and felt like a complete idiot (I was surrounded by men, LOL!).

Haven't picked up the others yet though!

How could you NOT pick up the next one after finishing the first one! :) I read all of them in just over a week I think and loved the series. The last book wasn't as good, but I still enjoyed them all as a whole. :)

I haven't started this series yet. After the Fever Series my Amazon account needed a break....tried to find something good at the library this week. It just isn't the same as getting it in an instant on the Kindle. Sigh. Happy reading!

They totally surprised me too. I have to admit when everyone was first talking about them I avoided them because I was so disappointed with Twilight I was reluctant to give another popular TA series a try. I am SO glad I did. I loved them!

Yep....they surprised me too! I was at first horrified by the concept, but the writing and character development quickly out shadowed that. I read the first on a Wednesday, the second on Thursday, and went out and bought the third on Friday! So addicting! I'm glad I waited to read them after all three were released. I can't imagine waiting!

I was at first horrified by the concept,

This was me too. My sister recommended them and i started them and was like, what am I getting in to?? but, oh my stars, it didn't take long and I couldn't put them down. Am thinking about re-reading them soon!

I was just thinking about terracing them as I just can't get into anything lately

I have these on my list of must reads. I just got a friend on my NookColor who has them and they are lendable so I will be reading them after I'm done with the Fever Series.

they really are awesome books aren't they?!

I was told that the Maze Runner was just as good but I can't vouch for that! :)

I really enjoyed them too. I read the series over a weekend and I was so sad to get to the end.

Would it be a spoiler if someone told me the concept? I haven't even gone as far as looking up the books on Amazon yet.

Basically, the US is split up into sections that are used for various things - agriculture, industry, etc. - and there's a "lead" section that rules the rest. Each section has issues with the other section so basically the US is at war with each other. The Hunger Games is a live war game to the death that pits 2 children (between ages 11-18 I think) from each section against the others, with the games going on until there is one child left alive.
