and MOC 10 is done for another year!! I can't believe how fast it's gone. It truly is my favorite time of the year for scrapping!!! I know a lot of people love DSD and iDSD, but that's just a shopping day for me...I can shop any day! Thank you to all of the Pollys and all the people who work so hard behind the scenes that we never see. I have done this since 6, and this is by far the best of them all for me!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I'm always sad when MOC is over too! (though admittedly, I think I'm running out of creativity!) It's fun to see the forum and gallery hopping, and all of the inspirational pages.
MOC is my favorite scrapping event of the year, too! I get more pages done in January than any other month. (That said, it's probably good for my offline life that MOC is almost over. There are so many things I've been putting off so that I can work on my MOC layouts!)
It's that wonderful kind of combo emotion: sad such a fun creative time is over, but also glad because I'm getting tired of it being daily and want to do other things now. I'll still scrap at least one page every weekend, so it's not like I'm stopping scrapping. Thanks everyone who makes MOC happen! I actually love iNSD/DSD more than MOC for one thing: the forum games.
Also, there will be 7 new challenges posted on February 1. And, with all the designer challenges and the technique forum, we CAN keep scrapping daily if we want to!
I think I loved this one because it was such a stretch to my creativity! I am on the end of Covid, so it was hard to be creative when I felt like dukie...LOL
YES!! The only other time I scrapped so much was when I was a guest polly. I did 31 pages one of the months!
There's something about compulsion that keeps me scrapping! Must be my college days when I would do my term papers the night before they were due...
Oh no, sorry to hear you have COVID, but glad you're coming out of it. Hopefully it was relatively mild. Big hugs!
Really! They're all fun! Well, I don't care much for searching the store for tiny images of things or trying to come up with a beautiful color palette but other people love those ones. There's something for everyone. And there are games that are easier than others. Like, it's one thing to fill up the bingo board with 25 tasks (which I love to do but it is hard), and another much easier thing to just continue the This or That thread.
It's been a great MOC! Thank you to all of you "behind the scenes!" Can't wait to see what else you have in store for 2022!
Yes, it was comparatively mild. The worst of the symptoms lasted 5 days. Now it's just getting my energy back and my taster to come back!
I think this year was the best MOC I have done in the sense that the challenges were so different! I really enjoyed last week- the pages came easily to me; partly cos of feeling back to normal. Our family was sick Dec. 21-about the 15th of Jan!! I've had a few challenges that stumped me but only for a few minutes. Where I live was the hardest, because we truly live in a small small town [population 7k] where nothing is ever going on. ( We are more "city folk" and looking to move this Spring). But even that challenge made me think about the situation and gain more clarity, so it was a win-win!!! Thanks to EVERY host!
To the tune in West Side Story.... Could it be? Yes, it could Something's coming, something good if I can wait Something's coming, I don't know what it is But it is gonna be great Keep your eyes posted for February 11!!!!
IMO, this has been the best MOC I've done! New challenges mixed in with the best of the traditional challenges. I learned how to do something new with my software - BONUS. I learned a new photography technique - BONUS. I didn't have any feelings of "Well, I'm never doing THAT again."
