the monoroe is the one to the side above your lip...

i won't get any more similar to that. I had my labret done-- and it ripped up my gums & chipped my two bottom front teeth.. I actually will eventually have to get a skin graft to repair the gums. My dentist said they wanted to use me as an example for kids who want to get oral piercings (ok it's not THAT bad.. they're just dramatic). I still have my tongue pierced.. 10 years now and no problems with that. it was just that stupid labret.

When I had my labret it hit my teeth too so I took it out. I use bioplast jewelry now so it hasn't been too bad on my gums. It's caught a few times but it hasn't been cut down yet.
 
good news....

my husband gets home from cali tomorrow after 2 weeks away! the kids painted him cards today, i got a bottle of wine, some beef jerky (not to go with the wine), and we're gonna make some chocolate chip cookies to make him a welcome home basket. so excited to see him!

this weekend we get to go to an open house for the steam engine that my dad used to work on. it will be running under full steam, and we'll get to ride on it and all that fun stuff! looking forward to that too!

kids school pictures went great today! they found their classrooms while we were there, so now they're super excited for school to start. me too!
 
YAY FOR A NEW HOUSE!!! Boo for car repairs! Nate just fixed our old Altima's exhaust system last night...with a tin can. I kid you not. This car is 17 years old and he refuses to get a new one. But hey, we've definitely gotten our money out of it :)

Good things for us this week:
Nate won his corporate soccer tourney...Hugh slept through the night once...We went up the canyon for a cookout...
and that's all for this week. It's been pretty crappy for us too :)
 
heh.. mine is a 16 yr old altima.. ^_^ it's a good car- - just, well its really old and really tired. Thankfully we were able to get it running with only doing 150 dollars worth of damage. There's some much bigger stuff that still needs to get fixed but i just needed it running :p

and second STOP you guys talking about tatoos and piercings... i so want to get my nose done and another tatoo would be great too... but i really think i`m too old for that LMAO

my son had his first week ever in kindergarten, he so enjoys his time there... (keeping my fingers crossed that it`ll stay like this) but when he comes home he is driving me nuts for the moment...:sense
