Welcome to another Slow Scrap here at The Lilypad! This month we are going to play a game of “Would You Rather”. I’ll ask a question and you get to scrap some requirement based on your answer. I love this game for two reasons, the first being we get to know each other a little bit better. The second reason is that we must put our thinking caps on which means we have fun!

Don’t forget, this is a slow scrap so you can play along and post your layout here before 10:00 PM EST on 5/25/2003 to be eligible for a $3 coupon. How exciting! Please also post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery and don’t forget about the gallery rules: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products (Templates count as 15%). Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Whew! That’s a lot of rules. So, let’s get to the good stuff!

1. Would you rather it be summer or fall?
  • If you prefer sun, shorts, and swimming, scrap with bright and cheerful colors.
  • If you love fireplaces, warm drinks, and sweaters, scrap with darker and more muted colors.
2. Would you rather watch TV or a movie?
  • If you are a TV binger and series fan, scrap an even number of photos.
  • If you prefer the movie theater and popcorn, scrap an odd number of photos.
3. Would you rather have fresh flowers or just keep some plastic plants around?
  • If you have real plants and flowers in your space, use lots of flowers and foliage on your page.
  • you prefer to dust your plants rather than water them, create a flowerless layout.
4. Would you rather eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
  • If you are a breakfast fan, you need 9 words or 9 sentences of journaling.
  • If you are in the lunch bunch, you need 5 words or 5 sentences of journaling.
  • And you guessed it – dinner fanatics should write 6 words or 6 sentences of journaling!

5. Would you rather create with paper crafts or sewing projects?
  • If you chose paper crafts, come join us on the hybrid side. Okay, that’s not really it, though I’d love to see some more hybrid projects hehe! If you chose paper crafts, show me some staples or glitter on your page.
  • If you’d rather sew, then I want some stitches or pins on yours

6. Finally, when you travel would you rather pack a full suitcase (or two!) or would you rather skip checking luggage and use a carryon?
  • If you are a “take it all” person, load up your page with elements!
  • If simplicity is your thing, you should keep elements to a minimum and let your photos be the focus!

As you may have guessed, I am a fan of winter and watching movies. I cannot keep a plant alive, so I have several fake plants that don’t droop or die. I could totally eat breakfast all day long and though I am one of the hybrid pollys, I LOVE to quilt and sew. My family loves to travel and I’m all about packing as little as I can so I don’t have to wait around for luggage – I just want to start our adventures as quickly as possible! So now you know something about me, and I cannot wait to see what you come up with so I can know something about you as well!

Fun challenge: I prefer fall colors, since Covid I have become a TV binger, one of my indulgences is having a vase of fresh flowers and I have plants all over especially orchids and succulents, breakfast is my favorite meal (cheese omelet and hash browns, yum!), its a toss up between paper crafts and sewing, but I chose paper crafts since that's what I have been doing lately, and I am a light packer even though I generally check my bag anyway.

1: sun please, we don't get much summer in the UK so we enjoy it when we do.
2: We don't have a TV, so I guess that gives me Movies.
3: real plants please.
4: lunch - oh yes.
5: I like paper crafts, but love sewing.
6: We have to take loads of everything when we travel. But if I think back to my solo traveling days I always packed light.
SO, that gives me:
Bright/cheerful, odd number photos, flowers and foliage, 5 words, stitches, minimal elements.

Summer totally summer person

Binge TV shows with the hubby or friends

*L* I kill flowers.. but I love them! I have tons of air plants around so I hope that counts

4. Would you rather eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
Breakfast has to be my favorite! we often even have it for dinner! .. (sorry I kinda went over 9 senteces.. I couldn't stop)

5. Would you rather create with paper crafts or sewing projects?
Sewing totally! I use to sew a lot (made quilts and cloth diapers for the kids, doll clothes.. so forth.. even baby carriers.. ) but now I just help the mom in law out with her crafts like quilts and hot mits for craft shows

I use a carry on... always.. *L* but pack enough for my trip in my carry on. I have learned how to have everything tightly packed and everything for a trip in as little space and items as needed. If that makes sense
(so...i am inbetween.. *L*).. so this is my inbetween not filled layout and filled
 
disreagard my coupon, as i needed do new layout, if to late, i not going to use.
