Welcome to another Slow Scrap! This time I thought it would be fun for us to scraplift any layout in the gallery that predominately uses Memory Pockets Monthly products, all of which happen to be on sale this week (kinda cool, ‘eh?!). How do you find these layouts you ask? Here is the link to the MPM Gallery. There are 262 pages of layouts for you to choose from! Simply show me the layout you’d like to scraplift, and then, in the same post, show me your version. Now remember, scraplift doesn’t mean copied detail for detail. You can make it your own as long as I can see the original. How easy and fun is that? Let me show you what I mean:

She has so many photos on the page, but the layout is still gorgeous and not cluttered. That’s talent! Here’s my version of it:


She used MPM January 2023 Emerge. I did use the same template, but I used MPM January 2022 Farewell instead. That’s okay!

In addition to posting both the original and your layout here, please also post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery before 11:00 AM EST on 7/19/23 and don’t forget about the gallery rules: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products (Templates count as 15%). Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Robin, I enjoyed our chat very much! I am going to admit I failed to remember your real name though and so glad to see your signature here. And I'm telling myself duh, I should never forget it again because Robin is also one of Indigo's chosen names and one I like a lot. When they came out as trans, they picked Indigo first, and then for middle names they chose Robin and Theodore, because those are each names my husband and I had wanted to name a child but the other didn't. In other words, I wanted to name my first born child Robin after their dad, Robert, but Robert didn't like it! I don't actually dislike Theodore; I think there were just so many choices and that didn't actually end up being the one.

Anyway, thanks, Robin, and I hope you find a great photo scanning solution! I'm not sure I'll find time to scrap this afternoon, but glad I dropped in for the chat!

I don't normally do a clean white look for my pocket pages, and decided to give it a go after seeing this page by @Soco

I went with the same theme - site seeing and buildings.

It was awesome talking with you Michele - truly! I have to say though, I like Indigo much more than Robin. I've been teased my whole life (yes, even as an adult) about my name. I tried to use my middle name in college (kinda like reinventing myself), but I couldn't remember to keep introducing myself as Lee! I love that Indigo chose two names that you originally wanted. What an awesome tribute to you!!
