I am heading into the chat room in just a minute to start a slow scrap. I will also be posting the instructions here to follow along. To qualify for the prize your page must be uploaded to the gallery by 24 hours after the chat ends, so by 9:00pm ET, tomorrow, October 19th.
-----------
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.
-----------
Steps with go here:
ONE - We are going to start with one large photo. Your photo should be at least 50% the size of your layout. Rotate it slightly and have the photo hanging off one side and either the top or the bottom. You may add extra photos anywhere on your page as long as they are small and don’t take away from your large photo.
TWO – Tuck one large mat piece of paper under your photo and have it sticking out of the two sides that aren’t hanging off the edge of the layout. Add one neutral background paper.
THREE – Add a small bit of paper or a label or date tab. Tuck it between the photo and the mat piece of paper. Add a date on it.
FOUR – Add at least four elements also tucked between the photo and the mat piece of paper. Add at least three more elements somewhere on top of your photo.
FIVE – Add at least one doodle or bit of paint on the background. Add a title along one edge of your large photo.
SIX – Add at least two sentences of journaling about your big photo.
SEVEN – Add at least one scatter and one bit of string/ribbon/stitching.
Post your finished layouts in the Speed Scrap Gallery.
ETA: Here's my layout:
