Slow Scrap March 1 - Instructions and Layouts

hello everyone!

here are the instructions for the slow scrap (note - it was originally scheduled to be a speed scrap - but i've decided to change it ) ... please complete the instructions, post your page to the speed scrap gallery, and post a link here in this thread. You have 24 hours to complete your page

Note: I allow one "cheat" if you need to change up and instruction a little

1) Using your shape tool, create 3 columns of squares. the first column (the left side) should have 3 squares. the middle column should have two squares, and the right column should have 3 squares. do not have the squares line up in rows - stagger them some.

2) select two pictures (or one picture repeated) and place it in two of the squares (i will let you pick which two squares).

3) select a solid background for your page. use patterned papers, journal cards or square shaped elements to fill in the remaining squares - except for one that you will leave empty.

4) create a title in the space where the empty square is (remove the square shape). you may use word art if you want. you also may overlap other squares with your title if you want to.

5) add some elements to the page - as many or few as you like - place them wherever you like as long as they are near/on the squares - e.g., do not have them on the edge of the page if all your squares are in the center. include some stitching as one of the elements.

6) add some journaling to the page. you may journal in one of the squares - or anywhere outside the squares - up to you.

7) make any final tweaks to your page and save - you are done!

you have until 4 PM eastern on March 2nd to complete your page. please post it in the speed scrap gallery - and then also in this thread (i will send PMs with the participation from this thread only!).
