Hi everyone
Thanks so much to those who joined me in Google Meet, it was lovely to see your faces! We really are a cute bunch here at the Pad!
For today's Slow Scrap I want you to think about how life moves incredibly fast, and when we sit down to scrap, we often focus on the massive milestones—the big trips, birthdays, and holidays. But truly, it's the little things that matter most. The quiet morning coffee, a favourite book waiting on the table, the way the sunlight hits your favourite plant, or an everyday routine that brings you comfort.
Because this is a Slow Scrap, I would love it if you (and me, so WE) take a deep breath, and spend some intentional time focusing on your storytelling and journaling.
So scrap a page that honours the small, everyday details of your life. You can follow one (or more!) of these three prompts to get your creative juices flowing:
1 - The Everyday Ordinary - Go grab a photo of something totally mundane—like your morning coffee mug, a messy desk, or even a funny sticky note left on the counter. Make that little thing the star of your page, and write your journaling about why that tiny slice of normal life actually brings you joy.
2 - The Micro-Joy List: Think back over your last few days and jot down a quick list of 5 to 10 tiny things that made you smile. Keep the design nice and simple, and just let your little list of happy moments do all the talking.
OR
3 - Cozy Vibes - Instead of worrying about a perfect story, just build a page that feels cozy. Use soft textures, warm layers, or your favourite comforting colours, and use your journaling space to capture a mood.
I can't wait to see the beautiful, quiet moments you all share.

- All pages must be uploaded to the gallery and add the slow scrap tag, copy the BB code and share in this thread.by Friday, June 5th at 9:00 PM EDT.

I can't wait to see the beautiful, quiet moments you all share.
