It seemed like a good idea to put the time limits back on my kids electronics.

    Then I realized it's DSD.

    I'll do it Monday.

Putting off household chores seemed like a good idea today but now I’ll have to fit it in tomorrow when I’d rather just scrap. I do need to get laundry done and go through the freezer to see what I need at the grocery store.

I seemed to have put everything off for weeks now - until this weekend. Grocery shopping, house cleaning, finishing up my swap, the list goes on and on ... all I want to do is have some Me Time this DSD weekend. sigh.

For once my procrastination has paid off. I've put off making a new sig and an art piece - both of which happen to qualify for DSD challenges. Go me. For once. Seriously, I am usually the Queen of procrastination and "well it seemed like a good idea."

It's a long weekend here, we just lost an our 'springing forwards ' for daylight savings & it's school holidays - time limits are all out the window ATM here too!

I'm so not looking forward to that! I hate the time change.

Yeah... i can't tell you how many times I've read an hour or two past my bedtime and regretted it the next day when I'm drooling on my keyboard at work. :giggle I had a similar thing two nights ago, my boys wanted to watch a show together and after one episode they begged to watch another one... it was already after 9:00 and the 2nd show put me up past my bedtime (because you know I can't just go to bed, I have putter around and get the stuff all put away in the house and then wash my face and then read for an hour :giggle ) Anyway, it seemed like a good idea at the time because I always want to spend time with my teenaged boys when they want to.... but I was Soooo tired yesterday!

I know right! All that 'I'm going to bed so I just have to.. . stuff! takes ages! I could read for so much longer if I didn't need to check all the doors & windows (b/c DH just does go straight to bed), plus re-cover the kids that then kick the blankets back off again the second I creep around the minefield of toys back out the door; turn off their 'your TV sounds keep me awake! ' sleep CDs, plus covering the bird cage, turning off fish tank lights etc, but I never factor all that in to 'bedtime'- I'll be going to bed before the kids soon enough
