    I would.
I always buy one 8x10 photo from each year. Then I scan and print out smaller ones for family (we have a photo printer at home)

Buy, it's a win win. Great pictures of the boys and a FREE 8X8 book.

I would buy that, depending on the cost, lol!

For our school pics, I usually don't. The pics aren't anything really nice. I take better ones of my kids. So... the boys and I have a deal.... IF they can get some sort of silly face or weird eye/lip/facial expression, then I will buy them! :giggle Shhhh.... Those I would totally splurge on!

we have lifetouch also, and saw the same deal! @AnneofAlamo you can get digital copies of the pictures. That's what we did last year for Nolan's first school photos. It was pricey for digital copies in my opinion. But this way i could print out just what i needed. I think we paid about $35CAD for 5 pictures (different versions).

My husband has a photography addiction, so we're never short of photos of the children.

I buy them even though I take better photos. I usually get the digital file. But this year, my son is at a different school. They hired a photographer to take the school photos. I can't wait to see how those turned out.

I wish the school used lifetouch. That photo book offer would've been nice! :)

Ah, we homeschool so any school photos are by me :) -- which reminds me, I still have not taken the "first day" of school photo for this year. At least we are in chapter 4 of Geometry.

I actually had Brody do retakes today. His hair was in his face in the first ones & I can't hang with that. I always buy them. I get the basic pack & order each size with a different background for variety. Here's a tip Anne, each boy's account is under a different email. Double the freebies!

My friend bought them for 3 kids, and got 3 photobooks - one for each. same account.

And, since hers came home last month, she used the free book with unlimited pages last weekend and scored 2 big - 111 page books - for shipping!

Man, I didn't even look at what the school was offering this year and we use Lifetouch. I may need to go back and check it out to see if we got the offer. I never buy the school photos. I used to back in the day with my first, not anymore. But I might for the photobook, especially if it's offered to me since I have school photos every year, too. I joke every year about being as old as I am and still coming home with school pictures haha.

There's also a family rewards program. You get free digital downloads when you spend a certain amount. The system won't take two codes at once. So, two different accounts, 2 rewards.

    BTW, Happy Birthday Court!

it feels like a rort but i order them, ya gotta pay before they even take the picture so you're buying without even seeing what face they make or how badly they have autocorrected them, but i have them from every year since DD started in Kindy... i wish we got a free book deal, that'd make me feel heaps better about it all!

Ours haven't come home yet- but I usually just get the digital download for $13 each. If it came with a free book, I'd be willing to pay more! :)

Thanks! It has been a happy day.

What's a rort? Is that like scam?
Also, that sucks that you have to pay before you see them! That's so crappy.
