Sandy?

We're supposed to get hit by the storm early next week! It sounds pretty scary. I'm hoping it won't be so bad, but you never know. Mostly I'm worried about getting to work on Tuesday - I work for newspapers so you still have to come in rain, shine, snow, etc - and that's when it's supposed to be hitting here the worst!
 
I am! My company will close if the weather is too bad but my sister works for the local utility company and she said they are calling in the backups - been out straight making arrangements for the last couple days. They have to go in no matter what of course. I'm hoping it will pass us by like so many others but you never can tell. I'm in NH - anyone else close to me?

Drive safe Robin! And anyone else in the path!
 
i just wish it was not this week. i really want the kids to be able to have halloween this year.
 
We're preparing for it, hopefully it won't be too bad.
 
My job gave us all remote access to our computer system! So if things look pretty bad I can work from home! I feel so much better now!

They've already post posted trick or treating around here! Still hoping it'll pass on by. We had a big Halloween snowstorm last year too. Stay safe everyone!
 
Oooh, stay safe everyone! I'm glad you can work from home Robin - I used to work for a local newspaper too, nothing stops the news!
 
oh yes def shaping up to be a doozy. hopefully will not be as bad as "they" say... have to stay positive!

I'm supposed to have an appointment with my new reproductive endocrinologist tomorrow. I was really looking forward to this appointment but it is supposed to be when the storm is starting to get worse. I don't know what to do. I would brave the storm if it was a local appointment but it is an hour and a half away. I am so frustrated. Why does it have to be so hard and involved to have a baby? I should be able to make that happen by staying home! Lol!
