Robots?

    I noticed who was online today and there were 7 robots. What the heck are they and what is their purpose. I've heard the term before but didn't understand. Now there are 7 lurking around, is that bad? inconsequential? good? What???

    I seem to remember a comment on either a status or a thread here, but basically robots tag/keyword sites for search engines. But that's my limited knowledge. No idea if that's good/bad/indifferent.

    Yep! They are just robots from google or bing or wherever that are keywording. No need for concern :agree

    They should probably be called search-bots. And I do not assume they are totally harmless, depends on what they are searching for...
