    Today is National Relaxation Day!

    I've been doing quite a bit of that this afternoon/evening since I have to go back to work tomorrow. I actually just got done staring at a view quite similar to that. I decided that instead of spending my last few days of summer break doing laundry and cleaning house, I'd take off to the beach :giggle It was super relaxing! We drove 5 1/2 hours home this morning and I've been doing nothing but laying on the couch since then.

    Are you getting some relaxation time today?

    Your time at the beach sounds lovely! I’m glad you were able to take a break before school starts. Good luck tomorrow!

    I’m lounging on the couch right now so I guess I’m relaxing until I cook dinner.

    There's a tropical storm headed our way, so I'm doing laundry. Other than that, I've been relaxing today (read: taking naps).

    I'm just hoping I don't regret it when I realize how unprepared I am tomorrow haha
    I guess if there's one thing I've learned in 32 years, it's that it all comes together eventually :)
    Sometimes there is just nothing like lounging on the couch!! Enjoy while you can!!

    Wonderful!!! I need a day of nothing but scrapbooking, I'm so behind. I'm hoping that going back to work will help. I could really use some routine!

    Yeah, should just be a Tropical Storm with lots of rain. I hope we don't lose power. It's too hot and humid right now!

    Olivia has actually inspired me to get back into creating regularly. I'm still not where I used to be/want to be, but I'm getting there! It always helps to have someone to talk to about cute kits and photos and get excited about it all again. LOL

    Mine was last night when my boyfriend drew me a bath & let me relax while he cleaned up from the dinner he made us & then finished painting my office for me. :beat

    I've scrapped quite a bit today and we had family over for dinner. It's been a good day.

    Me either, I rested so much, I didn’t check anything til an alarm went off but that is usual for me at the moment so relaxing for me was more of an essential than a nice to do kind of thing.

    I'm loving it! Today was Day 3 and it's going amazingly smoothly already, which is even more amazing considering I'm working with first graders who barely attended school last year because of the pandemic closures as well as kindergarteners.

    Yesterday, after church, we drove down to Atlanta to stock up on some Asian food. So while it wasn't typical relaxing I did take a nap in the van while my hubby drove. And I didn't have to cook dinner!

    Awesome!! I'm really excited to see some of my kids that I haven't seen in a year and a half. Glad things are going smoothly!!
