Help a lady out! Need a good recipe that uses ground beef. We have a partial package that is going to go bad in the next day or so. What can I make for dinner tonite? I am making chicken chili tomorrow so no chili recipes please. Also no meatloaf, lol. Had that last week.
    Thanks

    Taco salad
    I’ll go find my recipes
    Taco soup
    Tater tot casserole
We like crispy tater tots, so I bake them according to the package directions while I'm browning the hamburger.

    Chamberlain Style Tater Tot Casserole
1 bag of frozen tater tots
    1 - 1.5 pounds of hamburger
    Minced dried onions
2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 cup sour cream
1.5 cups grated mild cheddar cheese

Bake the tater tots according to the package directions. While the tater tots are baking, brown the hamburger sprinkled with minced onions. Drain off excess grease. Add cream of chicken and sour cream to the browned hamburger. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until it's bubbly. Transfer mixture to a microwave safe 9x13 casserole dish. Top mixture with the tater tots and sprinkle the cheese on top. Microwave for 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted. You can also melt the cheese in the oven. I'm just not sure how long. It would probably take 7-10 minutes.

This one can be divided and frozen if you don’t need that much. Just put the meat mixture in a freezer bag and bake your tater tots separately when you’re reheating the meat mixture.

Lately I’ve cooked this in a crockpot and used frozen cooked taco meat, but on the stove works well too. You can adjust the number of cans of ingredients to fit your family but I always use 1 pound of meat.

    Taco Soup
    Kayla Chamberlain

1 lb hamburger (I brown with some minced dry onions)

1 (15 oz) can whole corn (don’t drain)

2 (10 oz) cans diced tomatoes (with or without) chilies (I usually do without for my family)

2 (15 oz) can kidney beans (drained and rinsed)

    1 envelope taco seasoning

1 (10 oz) can tomato soup

    1 cup water

    Doritos

    Grated cheese

Brown meat and drain off excess grease. While meat is browning heat all other ingredients (except Doritos and cheese) in a large pot. Add browned hamburger and simmer until everything is heated well about 20-30 minutes. (You can also let it heat in the crockpot on low for a few hours so the flavors blend together better.

To serve, crumble Doritos in a bowl and spoon soup over the top and sprinkle with cheese. Sour cream is also good on top too!

You could also do nachos grande. Chips, meat, cheese, salsa, guacamole, pico, whatever you have!

Anytime I need to use up ground beef (any ground meat usually!) I just add my taco seasoning & then freeze it. We always will eat taco meat in the future so it's handy to have it premade, just needs warmed up! :)

We used to use Hamburger Helpers a lot when the kids were all home. There are so many varieties and they loved them.

I would make like a beef pasta sauce and freeze it in baggies and grab a baggie from the freezer every time you want to do pasta.

So, I've always called it Shepherd's Pie. I didn't know there was a difference until the last few years. Then I learned shepherd's has lamb, cottage has beef.

I've made this a few times and it's REALLY popular with my family! My 15 YO eats two massive helpings and is always sad when it's gone. :giggle

    Low-Carb Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

    Ingrеdіеntѕ:
1 1/2 роundѕ lеаn grоund bееf
    2 bеll рерреrѕ
    1/2 уеllоw оnіоn
    1 сlоvе gаrlіс
1 teaspoon ѕеаѕоnеd salt (Lawry's or Mortons)
    4 ѕlісеѕ Prоvоlоnе cheese
    4 lаrgе eggs
    1/4 сuр hеаvу сrеаm
    1 tеаѕрооn hоt ѕаuсе
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    Directions:

Preheat oven tо 350 dеgrееѕ. Sрrау a 9x9 baking dish with nоn-ѕtісk ѕрrау.
Dісе the рерреrѕ and оnіоnѕ іntо bіtе-ѕіzеd pieces. Mіnсе the gаrlіс.
Add the ground bееf tо a ѕkіllеt and сооk оvеr mеdіum heat, сrumblіng as іt cooks.
When bееf is broken apart, but ѕtіll pink, аdd thе рерреrѕ, оnіоn, garlic, аnd seasoned salt. Cоntіnuе сооkіng, stirring often, untіl bееf is cooked through and vеgеtаblеѕ hаvе ѕоftеnеd a bіt.
Drain grеаѕе from thе ѕkіllеt and роur mixture into thе рrераrеd bаkіng dіѕh.
Tеаr thе cheese іntо ѕmаll pieces and place оvеr the beef mixture. (I like it cheesy so I actually use more Provolone)
Add the eggs, cream, hоt ѕаuсе, and Worcestershire sauce tо a mixing bоwl аnd whisk wеll to combine.
Pour the egg mixture оvеr thе bееf аnd рlасе thе dіѕh іn thе oven. Bаkе fоr 35 mіnutеѕ оr untіl thе eggs аrе ѕеt.
Lеt ѕіt 5 mіnutеѕ bеfоrе ѕlісіng and serving.

    PS
I always put more Provolone cheese and spice it up a lot more than what the recipe calls for. I prefer to use the higher fat ground beef as it is also more flavorful!

cheap fried rice (great for left over rice)

cook burger until done, and crumbly
drain and put burger in bowl (this can be done prior days also-so good to do if burger if you do meal prep for week)

glug of oil in big pan ( I use bacon grease) lol
heat, crumble up COOKED rice (works way better cold leftover rice)
and saute rice for a few minutes, so it is all warm and happy
I get an envelope of Fried Rice seasoning,
    [IMG]
I don't follow their directions, just sprinkle on the rice and then do a swirl of soy sauce! We love Sirachi
    [IMG]
move all to one side-mix up a few eggs (we do one per cup of rice I had left over), put a bit of oil in that side, and
pour in egg, let sit for a bit (like making scrambled eggs), then cook up and mix in with rice

then add things like this for added happy
    chopped white onion
    scallions
chopped cabbage (I so love Napa Cabbage) but any green does great
    carrots shredded
I do a bag of mixed vegis (corn and peas, but yesterday did cauliflower and brocoli and carrot one)
mix it all up and serve steaming!
MY family devours it! I love it cold!

edited to add; shrimp is a great add also!
