Hello all you summer loving scrapping people, Stefanie here. We have an awesome six week long summer event for you to play along with.

Recipe Challenge
1. Photos: Odd number of photos OR even number of photos
2. Title: Horizontal title with a vertical sub-title OR single title (horizontal or vertical)
3. Elements: Some cut-outs OR something slightly hidden/tucked away.
4. Papers: 3 patterns and 1 plain OR 3 plains and 1 pattern.
5. Only metallic attachers (see staples and paper clips) OR no metal attachers (think stitching and buttons)
6. Mix of at least three colours (ex- Red, blue and yellow) OR more tone on tone, neutral.

**Please note: while I used a style, the use of styles is not a requirement.

If you have any questions, please tag me (@StefanieS) allowing for time differences and me being under the weather.

Please mention which of the options you have chosen to use and make it easy to see whether you have chosen celebrations or vacations as your theme.

To play along, you need to create a new digital or hybrid project.
A completed layout qualifies you for an awesome digital pin for completing Week 1 and entry into the Week 1 drawing.
Your page or hybrid item should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and posted/linked below in challenge thread to enter.
GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Deadline is: August 21 at (11:59pm EDT) So you can play along during the week or play along when you have a gap in your summer festivities.

I will PM you the link to your pin upon your project completion. Collect them all!

Participants will be entered in a drawing to win store coupons: one $8 winner and one $3 winner each week.

Because of the time and effort doing something hybrid takes, a hybrid project will earn you two chances to win.

I hope that you're excited to play along with us this year, summer fun abounds.

We also have an awesome hybrid example from mocamom, she used papers from Everyday Project Birthday Kit by Dunia Designs and The Boldstroke Serif Font by Heather Joyce (both are on sale). It follows my recipe of odd photos, single title, cut out (the shaker window), 3 plains (black, red, white) and 1 pattern paper, no metal attachments (used glue and tape), and 3 or more colors (red, blue, yellow). * a reminder that a hybrid project gives you two tickets per week to win.
