So, as some of you may know, since I've posted my tale of woe in other places in the forum, my external harddrive died. My photos are backed up, my digiscrap products are backed up, the only thing not backed up - my project life folder - why? I don't know - just stupidity. I don't know how I didn't back it up.

So, here's the deal - my PL album is printed through March. I had April and I think the first week of May finished, in my "waiting for a Persnickety sale to be printed" file. After May, I had created individual files with journal cards, and photos for the weeks I had to catch up - everything was ready to be "slipped" into pockets. From May until now, while I was organized, I'm resigned to just starting over, and rebuilding. But April and the week of May, I still have 600 x 600 copies of the pages, since I had uploaded them to galleries. I can't print them that way for my 12 x 12 album, since they were optimized for the web, and small.

So, here's my question - would you try to duplicate the weeks you had already finished - I still have the supplies. Or would you just start those weeks off fresh too, like they had never been scrapped?

I think that I would try to duplicate those weeks just because I wouldn't want to have to think about what to use and it would be faster to get them done.

I agree with Maribel and would just copy what I'd already done. :) So sorry you lost everything.

Yep, I would do whatever is fastest, which would probably be the approach that requires the least amount of planning and thought. HOWEVER, if there was something about your PL that you really would like to change, I guess this would be the time to do it. Otherwise, just copy and recreate and get it done.

That's what I was thinking. On one hand, there's such a sense of satisfaction when you get a week done, that the thought of revisiting it was really making me feel ick - but I think that recreating them will be faster. Now where to start - start back in April with the rebuild, or start from now, and go back and pick up the lost weeks at the same time, kind of working on them simultaneously.
