What are you doing for St. Patrick's day? Rainbow Play-doh is REQUIRED around here!!!! If you would like the recipe I posted it on my blog! <--- SUPER easy to make!
Very cute sweetie! I love making my own play-doh and adding glitter or mixing it with jello powder. It takes on the flavor of the powder and totally smells wonderful!!
That looks soooo fun!! I am going to try that! I just have to figure out what cream of tartar is called here. lol
Claire I LOVE that too!!!! Pumpkin Play-doh in the fall is my fave!!! Kelly,... I had NO idea what it was before I made play-doh! Here is what it looks like here in the states!
That looks SO fun, Shanna! And jello? Wow, we just use koolaid powder here - never thought to use jello! Yum. LOL We love doing the glitter in it too.
Kelly, when we lived in France, I think that we had to buy cream of tartar at the pharmacy--crazy, isn't it? the only thing I ever use it for is snicker doodles--well, and now, maybe playdoh!
Wow very cool! And thanks for the recipe..i haven't made play doh in years...love the jello idea too! Oh and Shanna I wanted to comment on your cool lyrics canvas but there is so much spam in there that I didn't...you need to go delete it! It is SO AWESOME BTW!!
Sara you will LOVE it!!!! Homemade dough is SOOO much better! It lasts forever and I just LOVE making it!!! I have one little girl in my glass that is allergic to regular play-doh ... so its a good excuse!
Wow! I did not even know you could make your own play-dough! I'm going to have to try that. Not sure about cream of tartare though, i have no idea what that is or if they sell it over here.. My boss is going to the US for a meeting just after easter though - maybe I should get her to pick some up for me!
LOVE the rainbow! Funny that you make it like that on purpose, seeing as our store-bought play doh, that is not SUPPOSED to be rainbow, usually ends up that way anyway with all the colors smooshed together...LOL! I guess this way is just being proactive really! Great idea!
Wow!! That is sooo cool! I am totally going to save this recipe for when my son is older! (He's only two right now and I do NOT want rainbow playdoh all over my house, LOL)
My youngest JUST turned THREE but with the SPRING like weather we take play-doh outside. What is great about this recipe is if a little gets left outside and HE even eats a little .. it wont hurt a thing!
