    During my recent Designer Chat you asked for Challenges and here we are!

    If you're a collector of Rachel Jefferies Designs lets put those purchased goodies to good use and get creating together shall we? :heartslub

    I'm a little late this month so I apologise but it's been kind of crazy with Keaton starting school, Mackenzie is teething and has a cold and is pretty miserable and not sleeping properly :therethere

    Each month I'll host a different Mixed Media Challenge, for September we're going to be scrap lifting. Browse Digital Art, Hybrid and Digital Scrapbooking Layouts by Me and the Captivating Sistas (my creative team - past and present) here, here and here and scrap lift one of our project pages :)

    And whilst you're looking at all the yummy inspiration on our Pinterest boards don't forget to follow me for more Rachel Jefferies and Mixed Media related goodness, you can see all of my boards here!

    Challenge Requirements:

    • Challenge layouts must use 100% of Rachel Jefferies Designs currently available at her TLP store.
    • Upload your layout to the Rachel Jefferies Designs Gallery at TLP
    • Please also reply to this thread for your challenge entry to be counted, with the image of your finished layout linked to the gallery, and please also post an image of the layout that you chose to scrap lift with a brief note of what inspired you!
    • No double dipping for other challenges, I'd like to see brand new pages
    The challenge will be open throughout the rest of September and I'll pick a random participant to win a $10 coupon to my shop who will be announced with the October Challenge.

    New Release bonus entries ..

    It feels great to scrap with fresh new releases, if you are scrapping with a product released during September 2018 you'll bag yourself a bonus entry for an extra chance to win a coupon should you not be the $10 coupon winner, one winner from the bonus entries will be picked from random to win a $6 coupon to my shop.

    I really loved the open, clean design with a touch of artsy. Also I never do titles, but the stamped alpha and the word strips just called to me.

    I will never get the hours back I spent going thru those inspiration pages, but I loved each minute! I went with this page:

    the blends and soft shadows and depth of elements/artistry just made me want to keep playing. I wanted a photoless page, because I fell in love with the combination of A quiet Place and Salt Air. They together just went perfect!

    I Have A Couple Of Questions?...I See That Personal Journaling Is Allowed For This Challenge But I Was Wondering If We Are Allowed To Include WA We Make With Your WA Pieces?...Like Say...Using A WA Piece Provided In Your Kit But Changing The Words On That WA Strip & Adding Our Own Words Instead?...And Are We Allowed To Recolor The Pieces In Your Kits For This Challenge?...Thanks RJMJ...

    Yes feel free to be creative and edit the pieces to suit however works for you! As long as you're using products that are currently in my shop you are fine and you can use them however you wish. Can't wait to see your page :)
