I learned PSE from that site when it was called something else, so I knew they might have the answer.
@cfile @keepscrappin We are in Boston and out and about... but as soon as we get back to the hotel I will test it and update you. You are both wonderful- thank you!
you are welcome.. hope it works. Enjoy your trip.. CHEERS! and stay warm! (Don't know if you are visiting the Cheers Bar or having tea in the harbor! )
@cfile @keepscrappin okay... so maybe I am missing something, but I cannot get this CTRL key and click thing to do anything really. I tried creating a text box and not typing, then hitting CTRL and clicking in the box. I tried creating a box and typing something, then hitting CTRL and clicking in the box. I tried creating a text box and typing, then leaving it selected but not active for typing, then hitting CTRL and clicking in the box. When I hit CTRL, my cursor turns into a black arrow and when I click I literally don't see it doing anything.
hmmm... can you post a screen shot that includes the type tool bar at the bottom so I can see what's happening?
@GlazeFamily3 - are you hitting the control or holding it down? I'm pretty sure you have to hold the control down and click in the text box.
Question... can you change your leading and type two lines of letters/words? Wondering about that leading.
The control key will turn the cursor to an arrow because it can be used to select items on your layout. I do it all the time by holding control and clicking on say a flower to select it and move it. Have you tried making the text box and then clicking in the box and then holding down control while you type something? Also try doing 2 lines of text like Jenn suggests so we can see what's happening.
Okay... if I hold down control I cannot type at the same time. If I type "b" or other things that can be shortcuts it will just turn (or whatever the particular shortcut is). Typing two lines the spacing is fine between the lines. It's just lower like the first line... hold on and let me grab a shot of that.
Hmmm... I have one more question. Are you creating a text box to type in or just clicking and typing?
