Planners

Hmmm - I love planners, but I don't like having to maintain one by hand. So I keep an electronic calendar and print it once a week. I don't keep them after the week is over as usually there is nothing exciting written on them. And being on my counter, they some times get wet with food and stuff. So tempted, but I know I would not keep up with it.

Do you use yours to plan your day or as a journal of what happened?

I am thinking of doing a digital journal this coming year. Maybe. Similar to DYD but simpler so that I keep up with it. Probably no pictures most days.

Both.

I sit down on Sunday and write down any appts that aren't already in it, like usually DH's work schedule. I add in my thoughts for dinner for the week (planned in erasable pen!). And then note anything that needs to be done.

And as I go through the day, I'll jot down funny moments that happened, or something I want to remember about the day. I try to note 1 thing everyday, but that doesn't always happen. And often, my kid will draw me a photo or write me a note in "his space" in my planner.
