One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is pie. While most people opt for pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, I go for the banana cream pie. I like my banana cream pie with a buttery flakey crust and lots of pudding and whipped cream... YUM!

How about you? What's your favorite pie?

Definitely Pumpkin pie. I hardly ever eat sweets, so I look forward to pumpkin pie every Thanksgiving.

No pumpkin for me, even though that is my hubby’s favorite. For me it is a warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream!

I’d lose my Canadian citizenship if I said anything but pumpkin pie! I even risk dietary intolerances for it since it’s a once a year treat for me.

Pumpkin... and Apple is a close second if there's vanilla ice cream.

I like Pecan...but only the crunch top. I don't like the squishy middle part - too much. I need a Pecan pie with just a smidge if filling, and more nutty top, lol!

PS... I don't think I've ever eaten Banana Cream Pie. I'm not much for bananas, but that doesn't count a lot - I love banana bread and other banana things!

I've loved pumpkin pie my entire life. I like fruit pies occasionally too but pumpkin pie is one of my favorite things. I make my own every Thanksgiving. I'll be getting to that very soon today.

I'm not a fan of pumpkin pie at all. DH and the rest of the family like it, but for me it's a hard pass. Same with pecan. My favorite pies are key lime, lemon, cherry, or blackberry, but I do like a good banana or coconut cream pie.

oh yes, I'll take a warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream too! Have you tried warm apple pie with a slice of cheddar cheese on top... soooo good, but vanilla ice cream is better.

I've never been a fan of cherry, but maybe because it wasn't your grandma's recipe. Also, I swear the crust makes the pie. If the crust isn't good, then the whole pie is ruined. I wish I had a better crust recipe so I could make my own pie crusts. I buy the marie callender frozen pie shells to bake for my banana cream pies.

I like the crunchy part of pecan pies too, but don't like a lot of the gooey part. A little is ok, but not too much.

I'm a hard pass on pumpkin pie like you but the rest of my family likes it. It's the one thing my hubby insists on for Thanksgiving.
