I am in the mood for pet cuteness! I know there are quite a few fur-babies around the pad. Got any funny stories or adorable pictures to share?

My brother's dog (who I like to steal and pretend is mine lol!) did the cutest thing last week.

He's got this little dog house next to my brother's computer desk. He was lying in there one day and apparently decided he needed a pillow.

My brother said Jack got up all of a sudden and walked out to the living room. A few moments later he comes back dragging his big bed with his teeth all the way to his dog house. He pushed it up right close to the entrance, then snuck back inside the house through the remaining door space and lied down using the bed as his pillow. And he just stayed there all afternoon as if this was the most normal thing in the world to do.

It cracks me up to think of him lying there thinking "Man I could really use a pillow right now! WAIT! I know just the thing!" :giggle

Ok now show me your cuties :)

*Sigh* Where do I even start? Ours do something that makes us shake our heads in amazement every day! LOL! But, this one really made our jaws drop -

We have one park that's FULL of squirrels in the fall, and it wigs both dogs out. One day one was chattering up above our heads in a tree, and Aspen kept running back and forth trying to find it. She finally figured out it was in the tree, and decided to try and get it ...

Aspen is about 4 feet off the ground there.

I don't have a picture of this but two of my cocker spaniels LOVE to talk on the computer or the phone. Usually its when I am on skype with my mom and my 4 year old niece, but lately it's also when I am on facetime with my husband (who's living in Texas now for his new job)... anytime someone on the other end talks to them, they swish their head right and left to "listen". Sadie, my chocolate cocker girl, she will talk back... she "whines" her words back to them. lol!

Ha! that's a priceless photo! I guess the bigger the dogs the bigger the hijinks! Jack goes nuts for squirrels too though he's not much bigger than one lol!

Jack is adorable!
my scoutie lou jumps on me like a baby. she loves for me to carry her around, its weird, and cute all at the same time. {she does weigh 50 lbs so she's about half my size. not a lap dog.}

Oh goodness! That is too cute! Before we moved to our new house my dog used to open the door to let himself in from outside! He'd just push down on the handle and push the door open... now if only he'd learned to shut it behind him!

DH is wanting a dog really bad and I'm just not budging....but y'alls photos are making me reconsider. How cute are they!

Cute stories! My puppy is a little scaredy cat. She freaks out and runs if she sees a plastic grocery bag. She won't do her business if she can hear anyone talking (god forbid she can see someone - then all bets are REALLY off). And just the other day DH bought some mulch and had one bag left by the edge of the driveway. All that day when I took her out she'd stare at it and then run in the opposite direction. Oh, and flies...she's scared of them too.

I love these stories! One of Toby's things is any time he sees the luggage come out and we're trying to pack, he climbs inside one of the suitcases. In protest I imagine. He's not afraid of plastic bags.. just squirrels and crickets.

OMG! Love all these pups! :) I especially love that picture of Jack, Michelle! :)

Penny is so lazy sometimes! Most dogs greet you when you come home. Not Penny. I timed her. Took her a half hour to get up and greet me the night I took this!

She will go crazy and greet anyone else who comes in, but not me! LOL!

We just got back from the groomer. She has been nuts all day and was nuts in the car. But at least she's all fluffy and shiny! :)

I went to the shelter this weekend and looked at a puggle. He was so cute, but he wasn't housebroken. I think Penny needs a sibling.
