Back but this time with a more general question - is there any way to do a functional search by color?

Unfortunately not at this time. When I want something with a specific color scheme, I start by browsing in the past BYOC collections until I see the colors I want.

Thanks, Karen - that's what I thought. Also a good tip, I should start from there more often.

There's no rush on this one, it's probably something that won't be easy to find unless you already have a kit with something close.

It's from a designer long gone (as is the shop), and while I can - and will - use it and not break the 25% allowance for challenge pieces, I can tell I'm going to want to use it a lot, and would rather have something current to use in its place.

Looking for a kit suitable to remember a family dog by (their personality and quirks etc) - I don’t really want to go too dog themed only cause I don’t really have a use for the kit after this

hmm, I wonder if a kid/toddler kit will do the trick. I'll come back with one soon.

No rush at all, it's going to be one of those things someone just stumbles across and remembers someone was looking for - but you know I absolutely appreciate the effort you put into this. :goldstars

maybe but even that kind of kit won’t get tons of use - youngest in the family is about to turn 28 years old (I think.....not 100% sure). Even an element set could work - doesn’t have to be a full kit

That's one of my favorite kits to play with (I have pretty big stash of her stuff) - the flowers are lovely, and it does have a similar feel to the little piece I'm looking for, but I'm wanting something smaller and more, idk, delicate? viney? Less like magnolia and more like jasmine.

But thanks so much for the rec, I do appreciate it.

Jennifer, I swear I had a reply to your ISO! I thought I'd asked if there was a color scheme you had in mind, which might help find a non-dog-themed kit that you might be able to use for that page and then for others. Anyway, I'm not seeing my question here in the thread, so apparently I've been thinking of replies instead of writing them? :backing

Well he’s white and brown so anything that would work with that - My initial thoughts for a kit before he got put down was cause some of the photos I have are him wearing his denim jacket. Only reason I’m not sure on this kit anymore is the fact after this there’s no more dogs to scrap.

I'm sorry he is gone now. It's tough becuase "grief" kits are definitely more human-themed (that is a sentence I never thought I'd write), but I understand you want something that would work for both this page and for other, non-dog pages. What about this collab:
Yes, it's about "boys," but really it's about friendship and memories/having fun and much of the WA could be used for family pages. Plus, there's a dog! :) And the colors might work for many different pages?

@littlekiwi - Not sure why it is on sale, but check out this one. You could use any of your regular paper from other kits with it.
