On the way home from school, Joy was talking to me about her English writing assignment in school to create a recipe with 6 ingredients - but not a food recipe. She has written a perfume recipe for everlasting friendship. It had to have lots of processes and stuff. She said I can see it when her workbook is full at the end of the school year. I asked what the six ingredients are: * Honesty * Loyalty * Trust * Generosity * Joy * Care And for tips and extras * if the smell isn't pleasing enough for everyone, add a dash of teamwork.
Absolutely creative & she sounds like a very intuitive & smart cookie! Glad you could share this with us, I don't want to launch into singing ' the children are our future' but well, amid the rise in consumerism & various issues, stories like these are beautiful & give me hope
