Pad Patter 8/12 - Panhandlers/Beggars

Depends on the situation~ My dh has a giving heart. . . and if he feels good about it, he will give to those asking on the street corner. One of the things he wants to teach our children is that we should help those less fortunate, even if they aren't being honest about it. That's not our place to question their intentions. We also stopped for a hitchhiker for the first time this year. It was on July 4th and she was waiting at the bus stop. . . no public transportation was running on that day and she had just gotten off of work at the amusement park and was still in her work uniform. She was from the Ukraine and came over on a work program for the summer. . . it would have been a LONG walk home for her in major heat that day.
