Are you into them? I don't really follow sports at all, but I kinda usually know what's going on locally.

It's Ohio State MANIA up in here currently. :giggle

That doesn't really exist here, but when I was in college I went to all the hockey games. Our student IDs got us free admission to all home sporting events. It kinda spoiled me for ever watching on TV, though. Now I'm just like, meh, it's so much more fun to be there.

It's not as big here either in terms of our local schools BUT living on the border there is a huge U of M and MSU following-rivalry.

As I sit here, my husband and two boys are currently creating their own "team" on an SEC Football game for xbox. Yes... we're big into college football, but only football.

I'm not really - though there is one Texas team I generally hope doesn't win ;-) I'm not in a big college town so there isn't a lot of excitement here. My husband and son follow quite a few, and that more than makes up for my lack of interest (imho anyway LOL)

I totally agree. I used to go to a lot of hockey games (Canadian much?!) when I was going to university and lived in the big city. Now I'm a thousand miles from nowhere and hate watching sports on TV. Live is exciting, no matter the sport.

I actually grew up in Florida, and my parents teased me about being born to the wrong family. I hated the heat and always whined that I couldn't do things like build snowmen or play hockey. I went to college in Minnesota. Still haven't been to Canada! :giggle

Used to go to football games when I was IN college, but that was a looooooooooooong time ago. :whistle Since moving to Texas (24 years ago) I'm afraid I don't even know anything about the different schools here. I'm such a bad Texan. :blush :giggle

It's definitely big in our house. I couldn't care less...but my husband and boys are all into it.
