till I'm a grandma! My daughter in law has been having some health issues, so they are allowing her to choose if she wants to have a C-section and I think they've decided to schedule it. So....Wednesday, July 17th it is and we'll be welcoming a sweet little girl into our family!!
health issues are just really painful hemorrhoids that were supposed to be taken care of last year, but they botched it. She's been at the hospital frequently during the pregnancy, twice last weekend lancing them, surgery will be scheduled for after she delivers, but for now, they are concerned that it could tear through them if she pushes. I think this is a smart choice! So excited. We have a scheduled power outage at our house today, so I'm getting ready to go take her to get our pedicures and get ready for the baby shower this weekend. I had to wait till my sister moved into her new house because she wanted to have the shower there. Nothing like waiting till the last minute! LOL
Debra, I just know you are going to be the BEST grandma!! I am so excited for you. It makes me smile that you're getting a GIRL too! Best wishes for a wonderful birthday for your granddaughter.
YAY!!!!!! So excited for you all!!! and a GIRL...that's awesome!!!! I sure hope one of my four boys gives me a grand daughter someday!!! LOL
Congrats!!!!! I had a planned C section because of my congenital condition (dislocated femurs) and it was GREAT.
Congrats! My mom tells me every day that being a grandma is the best in the whole world! Lots of good times ahead.

oh my goodness! this is seriously exciting! i bet the days feel like they're taking forever to go by!! that is one lucky baby girl to have you as a grandma! i'm sure you are going to be the best one there ever was!!
