ahh! Don't do it! We're renting from "friends" and it's a nightmare. Just have him tell them you can't afford to break your lease!
i was seriously contemplating murdering him most days during this move/getting the house done (WHICH IT STILL ISN'T EVEN FINISHED)....... I really dont know why he thinks this is an awesome plan. maybe after i stop wanting to stab him in the eye i can consider this
Awww, he's just considerate and wants to help a friend out. I love him even more now. : ) (As long as he sees reason and things more highly of your sanity than helping his friends)
What a weird thing to do....if he's a friend he must know that you are still not finished with this move?!!
I brought this up and he kept saying "you just don't know him.. he'd never screw me over". They ARE good people.. but it's just hairy no matter what. They've known each other for almost 15 years now-- both the husband and wife are really long standing friends with bf (and my family).. but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek.
